Description:
The course deals with the study of educational gymnastics, which includes physical fitness,
conditioning exercises, slimnastics and aerobics. Through educational gymnastics principles of good
posture, correct body mechanics and self- testing activities are discussed and practiced as well as the
analysis and practice of fundamental body movements and calisthenics. The different systems of the
body are also discussed. It will also give the students the opportunity to design a personal fitness
program like aerobic exercises. The Great Filipino Workout is integrated with the administration of
Philippine Physical Fitness Test for the evaluation of the Physical Fitness status of the students at the
beginning of the semester.
