operationoranymaintenanceproceduresareperformed.
Theuserisresponsiblefortheperformanceofmaintenance.Alladjustments,theuseofproper
lubricants,fluids,filters,andthereplacementofcomponentsduetonormalwearandagingareincluded.
Failuretoadheretopropermaintenanceintervalsandproceduresmayresultindiminishedperformance
oftheproductand/oracceleratedwearofcomponents.
Usemileage,fuelconsumption,servicehours,orcalendartime,WHICHEVEROCCURSFIRST,in
ordertodeterminethemaintenanceintervals.Productsthatoperateinsevereoperatingconditionsmay
requiremorefrequentmaintenance.Refertothemaintenanceprocedureforanyotherexceptionsthat
maychangethemaintenanceintervals.
Note:Theaftertreatmentsystemcanbeexpectedtofunctionproperlyfortheusefullifeoftheengine
(emissionsdurabilityperiod),asdefinedbyregulation.Allprescribedmaintenancerequirementsmust
befollowed.
Note:Beforeeachconsecutiveintervalisperformed,allmaintenancefromthepreviousintervalmustbe
performed.
Note:IfCatHYDOAdvancedhydraulicoilsareused,thehydraulicoilchangeintervalisextendedto
