1.2. Klber Barrierta L 55/2 grease (MB 400)


1.2.1. Use
Lubrication of MB 400 rack plug-in probes, current socket pins, etc.
Another type of grease (Pyratex EP2) is also available from the
Schneider Electric Central Warehouse.
This grease must only be applied after the switchboard has been
cleaned in order to prevent deposition of dust or other particles.

1.3. Amblygon TA 15/2 grease (MB, Prisma)


1.3.1. Use
Lubrication of the stainless steel bolts required to connect the bars.
This type of screws and bolts is used only on the connecting pads of
the Masterpact 4000 A.
The screws and bolts are lubricated only when they are fitted.

1.4. Marking varnish (MB, Prisma)


1.4.1. Use
This varnish acts as a visual self-inspection indicator for torque
tightening.
It should preferably be applied on the nut side.
This varnish does not ensure mechanical locking.

This grease should be applied only after the switchboard has been

2.9. Stainless steel screws and bolts (MB, Prisma)


2.9.1. Use
Screws and bolts used to connect bars on the pads of Masterpact
devices than 4000 A.
Stainless steel screws and bolts must be mounted already
lubricated (grease is Amblygon TA 15/2).
Comply with the tightening torque applicable for this screw type. Use
of stainless steel screws and bolts limits flow of eddy currents, due
to its non-magnetic properties, thus avoiding excessive overheating
at the Masterpact connecting pads.
