The three-unit course is designed for travel and hospitality industries. The course
develops the four language macro skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)

but gives emphasis on communicative tasks that will help them negotiate meaning
with varied types of speakers.
After completing this course, students should be able to:
1. read, analyze various text types from authentic sources;
2. apply appropriate language functions in the context of travel and hospitality
