Abstract:

Inthislab,wemeasuredthevolumeofagaswithrespecttoachangingtemperature.Using
thedirectlyproportionalrelationshipbetweenvolumeandtemperatureofanidealgas,we
predictedanexperimentalabsolutezero.Todeterminethevolume,wemeasuredtheheight
ofagasbubbleinoilwitharuler.Todeterminethetemperature,weusedasteeltemperature
probe.Ourexperimentalabsolutezerowas283.12C.Thepercenterrorwas3.65%.

Ruler/bubbleoffset(systematicerror)
Becauseofthelimitationsinprecisionoftheruler,thestartingpoint(point
