The current system POS (Point of Service) which adjudicates real time drug claims from the pharmacies need to be
supported constantly for enhancements and upgrades. A new pharmaceutical agreement has been implemented on the
directions of Government of Alberta to accommodate the new cost structure for the pharmacies and also the rising needs
of Albertans. The claim system consists of FEP (Front End Processor) and SIGMA along with POS was modified to
accommodate the new PSPA (Pharmaceutical services provider agreement). POS system works primarily on Main frames
and the database used to retrieve and maintain the data is MS access.

Responsibilities:
Worked in the Pharmaceutical services Business analysis team which is primarily to maintain and support the
adjudication system POS.
Capturing business requirements and developing documentation for business critical systems.

ASR (Administration Service Replacement) Enrolment project is to replace the entire existing administration system
used internally to create the new service agreements by Alberta Blue Cross. Key deliverables were to replace the current
ageing mapper system which is in use for the past 30 years. Technically, the project is a multi-layer Oracle ADF J2EE web
application with PL/SQL stored procedures/functions serving as the back-end
Responsibilities:
Worked closely with SMEs to perform the regression testing.
Familiarized quickly with business process to identify what areas need to be tested.
Analyzed business requirements, user specifications, project documents, use cases for feature specific test
documentation
Participated in developing Test Plans, Test Scenarios based on Business Requirements.
Performed Regression testing on the service agreements to validate the business rules.

Lending Optimization Program was rolled out in 3 phases. Legacy application CASPER is responsible to execute all credit
applications from credit cards to mortgage. Casper was upgraded by adding major functionalities to improve the
application life cycle time. Key deliverables were to enhance client experience and increase RBCs profitability by
reducing the credit application life cycle and fulfillment time. New features introduced were Recommend and Open
Application. If the application does not meet Bank lending standards then procedural guidelines will indicate a bias to
decline the transaction. This could be avoided if there are mitigating circumstances or the AM/SAM/FP prepares a
business case to support the application and escalate to Credit Adjudication. Another feature was to keep the application
