GENESTEALER INVASION

PLAYING THE CAMPAIGN


Use the following rules for how the outcome of each mission affects the next mission.
Special Rules
Genestealer Victory
If the Genestealer player wins a mission the number of Terminators is reduced for the next mission only. Because the
squads are different in each mission the Deployment section of each mission tells you which Terminator will be unavailable if the Terminators player lost the last mission.

MISSION 1AMBUSH!

OBJECTIVES
The Terminators player is attempting to get his forces clear of the ambush area. The Genestealer player is simply trying to kill as many Terminators as possible.

1 Librarian with storm bolter and force axe.
1 Terminator with assault cannon and power fist.

Genestealers
The Genestealers player begins with 4 Blips and receives 1 Blip per turn as reinforcements. Ambush counters may be
used.

DEPLOYMENT
Terminators
The Terminators player places the squad anywhere on the two marked sections (coloured blue/purple on the map), on
any facing and on overwatch if he wishes.
Genestealers
The Genestealer starting force enters as 1 Blip at each of the four primary entry areas. Reinforcements come on at any
area, primary or secondary.
Genestealers move first.
VICTORY
The Terminators player wins by getting at least 3 Terminators off the board at the marked exit point (marked on far
left of map at exit of 3x3 room with 2 doorways). The Genestealers player wins by stopping any Terminators from
reaching the exit point. Any other result is a draw.

MISSON 2 - REGROUP

OBJECTIVES
The Terminators player is trying to link up Squads Octavius and Nicodemus with Squad Antonius and move them all
out of the danger area. The Genestealer player is trying to wipe out as many units as possible.

1 Sergeant with thunder hammer and storm shield.
1 Terminator with storm bolter/power fist.
1 Terminator with storm bolter and power fist.
B - Squad Nicodemus
1 Librarian with storm bolter and force axe.

C - Squad Antonius
1 Sergeant with storm bolter and power sword.
1 Terminator with heavy flamer and power fist.
1 Terminator with storm bolter and power fist.
Campaign Forces
If the Terminators lost the last game Squad Antonius doesnt have the Terminator with storm bolter and power fist.
Genestealers
The Genestealers player gets no starting forces but receives 2 Blips per turn. Ambush counters may not be used.

DEPLOYMENT
Terminators
Each unit starts on the relevant marked section.
Genestealers
Genestealers may enter at any of the marked entry points.
Terminators move first.

VICTORY
The Terminators player wins by getting at least on Terminator from each squad, including the Librarian, off the board
at the marked exit point (at the bottom of the map). The Genestealers player wins by killing all the Terminators. Any
other result is a draw.

MISSION 3 - HAMMER AND ANVIL

OBJECTIVES
The Terminators player is attempting to get squad Gideon (the reinforcements) through to squad Lucius deployment
area (marked B on the map above) by moveing the survivors of squad Lucios back to help them. The Genestealer
player is particularly trying to the Librarian and 2 Sergeants.

1 Sergeant with storm bolter and power sword.
1 Terminator with assault cannon and power fist.
1 Terminator with heavy flamer and power fist.
1 Terminator with storm bolter and chain fist.
B - Squad Lucius
1 Sergeant with thunder hammer and storm shield.
2 Terminators with storm bolter and power fist.
Campaign Forces
If the Terminators lost the last mission then squad Lucius loses one of the Terminators with storm bolter and power
fist.
Genestealers
The Genestealer player starts with 2 Blips and receives another 2 Blips per turn as reinforcements. Ambush counters
may be used.

DEPLOYMENT
Terminators
Each unit deploys in their respective area marked on the map.
Genestealers
Genestealers may enter any of the marked entry points.
Genestealers move first.

VICTORY
The game ends when all Terminators are either dead or in squad Lucius deployment area (marked B on the map).
The Terminators win by getting the Librarian and 2 Sergeants and at least 2 others to squad Lucius deployment area.
The Genestealer player wins by killing the Librarian and both Sergeants. Any other result is a draw.

MISSION 4 - SEARCH AND DESTROY

OBJECTIVES
The Terminators player is trying to locate an occupied cryogenic tank in one of four rooms. The Genestealers player
is trying to stop the Terminators from finding and destroying the tank.

1 Sergeant with storm bolter and power sword.
1 Librarian with storm bolter and force axe.
1 Terminator with assault cannon and power fist.
1 Terminator with lightning claws.
1 Terminator with storm bolter and power fist.
Campaign Forces
If the Terminators lost the last mission they dont have the terminator with the storm bolter and power fist.
Genestealers
The Genestealer player starts with 2 Blips per turn and gets 1 Blip per turn as reinforcements. Ambush counters may
not be used.
DEPLOYMENT
Terminators
The squad starts in the area marked blue/purple (far left side of map).
Genestealers
The Genestealers can come on at any of the marked entry areas.

SPECIAL RULES
Finding the Cryogenic Tank
The first time a Terminator gets LOS into a room that might contain the tank (marked in yellow on the map above) the
Terminator player rolls a D6. If the result is a 6 that room contains the cryogenic tank. If three of the four rooms have
turned up empty the 4th room automatically has the tank in it. Once the tank has been located the Genestealer player
places the counter in the room in any position.
Completing the Mission
Once the tank has been found the Terminators player must check out and destroy it. First a Terminator must enter a
square directly touching the tank and then spend a further 2 APs or CPs to report to the commander on the contents
of the tank. Then the tank must be destroyed. Once the report has been made any Terminator may destroy the tank.
For ranges weapons and psychic attacks count the tank as being as tough as a Genestealer. For close assaults the attacking Terminator must score a 7 or more to destroy it.

VICTORY
The Terminator player wins by making a full report on the cryogenic tank and then destroying it. The Genestealer
player wins if no Terminators reach the tank. If a Terminator reaches the tank but fails to report or reports but the tank
is not destroyed the mission is a draw.

MISSION 5 - HOLD AND SECURE

OBJECTIVES
The Terminators player is attempting to secure all the Genestealer entry points. The Genestealer player is trying to kill
as many Terminators as possible.

1 Librarian with storm bolter and force axe.
1 Sergeant with storm bolter and power sword.
1 Sergeant with thunder hammer and storm shield.
1 Terminator with heavy flamer and power fist.
1 Terminator with storm bolter and chain fist.
2 Terminators with storm bolters and power fist.
Campaign Forces
If the Terminators lost the last mission they dont have the Terminator with the storm bolter and chain fist.
Genestealers
The Genestealer player doesnt get any starting forces but receives 2 Blips per turn as reinforcements (see Special
Rules for additional info).

DEPLOYMENT
Terminators
The Terminators start in the room marked in blue/purple at the far left of the map above.
Genestealers
One Blip per turn must arrive at the special entry point (see Special Rules) but the other Blips can arrive at any of the
other entry points.
Terminators move first.

SPECIAL RULES
Securing entry areas
An entry area is secured when a Terminator enters a square next to the first square a Genestealer would enter if it were
to use that entry area. There is no AP cost to secure an area but the Terminator must be able to see the area to be able
to secure it.
Secured areas may not be used by the Genestealer player to enter reinforcements. Any Blips or Genestealers lurking
offboard next to a secured area are lost and removed from play.
A secured entry area remains so for the rest of the mission even if a Terminator who secures it moves away.
Genestealer special entry point
The special entry point (marked in yellow on the map) is a ladder coming up from a service tunnel under the room. If
the special entry point is secured the Genestealer player is reduced to 1 reinforcement Blip per turn.

VICTORY
The game ends at the end phase of turn 15. If all the entry points have been secured the Terminator player wins. If all
the Terminators are dead and at least one entry point is still open the Genestealer player wins. Any other result is a
draw.

MISSION 6 - FINAL CONFLICT

OBJECTIVES
The Terminators player is trying to kill the Broodlord before it wakes up. The Genestealer player is trying to wipe out
the attackers before they reach the Broodlords chamber.

The Terminator player splits the following force into 3 units of 3, the 2 Sergeants must be in different units.
1 Librarian with storm bolter and force axe.
1 Sergeant with storm bolter and power fist.
1 Sergeant with thunder hammer and storm shield.
1 Terminator with assault cannon and power fist.
1 Terminator with heavy flamer and power fist.
1 Terminator with lightning claws.
1 Terminator with storm bolter and chain fist.
2 Terminators with storm bolter and power fist.
Campaign Forces
If the Terminators lost the last mission they dont have the Sergeant with the thunder hammer and storm shield.
Genestealers
The Genestealer player starts with 3 Blips. Reinforcements are 1 Blip per turn for the first 2 turns and 2 Blips per turn
from them on. Ambush counters may be used.

DEPLOYMENT
Terminators
1 unit starts in each of the 3 marked deployment areas (blue/purple coloured rooms on the map).
Genestealers
The starting 3 Blips are place in the room marked with an O on the map. These are the Broodlords Guards (see special rules). One reinforcement Blip must come on at a primary entry point. When 2 Blips are allowed the 2nd one
must come on at a secondary entry point. A Broodlord model is placed in the room marked X in either of the rear corners.
SPECIAL RULES
Guards
The 3 Blips in the room marked O must stay in that room. They are the last line of defence. They may be converted
at any time but cannot leave the room. They are placed by the Genestealer player with any facing required.
The Broodlord
The room marked X on the map contains the Broodlord. Until turn 10 the Broodlord is asleep. From turn 10 onwards
he is fully awake.
VICTORY
The game ends when either the Broodlord has been killed or all the Terminators have been killed. If the Broodlord is
killed before it is fully away (i.e. before turn 10) the Terminators player wins. If the Terminators even fail to even
enter the Broodlords room the Genestealer player wins. Any other result is a draw.
