National Conference on Advances in
Mechanical Engineering (NCAME15). The
Educationist,Industrialist and Philanthropist
Dr. R. Vasanthakumar initiated Karpagam
Academy of Higher Education. Karpagam
University is established under Section 3 of

UGC Act 1956, of University Grants

Commission, New Delhi and approved by
Ministry of Human Resources Development,
Government of India, New Delhi. The newly
formed Karpagam University is taking a
number of steps to promote higher
education in this region.
