further understanding of the complex chemical combinations and
reactions involved in metabolism, reproduction, growth, and heredity.
May determine the effects of foods, drugs, serums, hormones, and
other substances on tissues and vital processes of living organisms.

MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER
Have you ever wanted to have spit balls shot at you while attempting
to teach low level biology? Well, if youve ever had that thought, then
being a middle school teacher is definitely for you. All jokes aside,
middle school teachers teach and prepare the coming generations in
STEM fields by providing them with knowledge to succeed in high
school and the foundation for what is to come in college. This is
arguably the most crucial part in the learning process as what happens

here determines a students preparedness for everything that may

come in the future.
73 percent have a bachelors degree, 17 percent have a postbaccalaureate certificate, and 8 percent have post-masters training.
Middle school teachers earned a median wage of 54,000$ annually in
2013 as reported by ONET. This isnt as low as it seems seeing as these
teachers have the summer off. Middle school teachers are somewhat
competitive with others vocations.
According to ONET, the growth over the next several years is predicted
to be between 8 and 14 percent.
