For over twenty years, Operation Smile has changed the lives of tens of thousands of children and
young adults worldwide. We are better able to continue this great work by enhancing our existing
missions, increasing the number of partner countries, and credentialing more volunteer medical
professionals all to change the lives of the less fortunate.
Everyday, we are reminded there remains a large number of children and young adults who look
forward to Operation Smile returning to their country. With your support, we are able to return
annually to help those who need us most.

As you know, Operation Smile conducts medical missions in over 22 developing countries per year.
However, the need to repairs cleft lips, cleft palates, or other facial defonnities still exists and
continues to grow as one in every 500 children is born with such correctable facial defonnities.
Your support and the support of others have enabled Operation Smile to change the lives of those
that live with correctable facial defonnities.
