Biodiversity
Our first campus biodiversity project was initiated in 2011 at our Electronics city
facility in Bangalore and started with an assessment of the existing plant, birds,
butterflies, insects, small mammals and other taxa in the campus. The project area is
divided into four themed parts:
A Butterfly Park
Garden showcasing native butterfly host & nectar plant
Deccan
Based on the predominant geology of south India uses mounds, rocks &
natural water body design
Medicinal Circuit
Herbal garden classidied by types of healing i.e, heart & circulation,
womens issue
Wetland Park
Ecosystem sustaining a variety of fish, water birds, insects & amphibians,
Also integrating sustainable water management inside the campus
All these projects are retrofit, where we work closely with expert partners in biodiversity, conservation, ecological design and communications.
Building employee connect through expert talks, workshops and field visits to community research centers in forests.
