WALL STREET JOURNAL
Bowdoin Student Government, convened in General Assembly
WHEREAS, the Wall Street Journal has been a commonly requested item of the Bowdoin College student
body;
WHEREAS, providing the Wall Street Journal will increase student's access to business news, which is especially
important since a significant portion of classes enter business and finance realms after graduation;
WHEREAS, the Wall Street Journal will increase the quality of the newspapers provided by Bowdoin, by
ensuring information that express both sides of the political spectrum, at a reasonable cost to the Bowdoin
Student Government;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
ESOLVED, That the members of Bowdoin Student Government, convened in General Assembly
Authorize the expenditure of $300.00 to provide the Wall Street Journal to the Bowdoin student body for
the spring semester of 2015.
