GENERAL :
The manual is intended to provide broad guidelines to the students in the preparation of the
project report.

Students should submit one copy to the Administrative Office on or before the specified
date. ( 28/02/15)
If the project is company based, in that case, students may need to submit one copy to the
Company.

The final copy of the project report (at the time of submission) should have the following page

Followed by Executive Summary, Chapter 1, Chapter 2 and so on (Refer Page No: 3 to 9 for more)
8. Students whose project is not a research based project, need to contact their Project Guide at the
Institute, for guidance on the format of their report.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Executive Summary is of max.1000 words which is a summary of your project giving your Objectives,
Methodology (including sampling if applicable) Findings + Brief Recommendations, if any.
Chapter 1
INTRODUCTION

Should include an introduction to your project, your industry and your company (as applicable).
1.4 OBJECTIVES
State the Objectives of the project.
1.5 METHODOLOGY
Input the library research done and the data collection method used.
1.7 LIMITATIONS
State the limitation of your project.
Chapter 2
LITERATURE REVIEW
Literature review should summarize the major contributions in the selected field and should give an
overview of the area of study.

Chapter 3
ANALYSIS AND FINDINGS
State your analysis techniques and tools, if any, and furnish detailed analysis of your project. Clearly
include, as suitable, Diagrams, Pie-charts, Bar-diagrams, Graphs, to illustrate your data concisely.
Chapter 4
CONCLUSION & RECOMMENDATIONS
These must be based on your research findings.
* Note Depending on the scope of the project there can be multiple chapters for analysis.
APPENDICES
In case you have done statistical analysis, put in tables with proper labeling & numbering. Include copy
of questionnaire, if applicable.
BIBLIOGRAPHY
Include all sources of data Primary and Secondary, Internet Sources,etc.
