contradictoryonthesurface,buttheyareexplainedanditbecomesclearwhy.
But,inIslamtheideasareinterpretedaspolaropposites,anditisnotasclear

why.

TheirMessiahhasnotcomeyet,butthatdoesnotseemtoanswerthedilemma.
Granteditwasanoralsociety,sothepassageshadtobememorizedastheywererevealed
(overa23yearperiod).Somesaytheyweretranscribedincorrectly.

But,apparently,evenquestioningtheaccuracyoftheQur'anistabooinsomepartsofthe
world.

TheQur'anisregardedbyMuslimsasinerrantandsomethingthatcannotbealtered,
regardlessofhowmuchtimeschange.

TherearepeoplewhoclaimMuhammadpreachedviolenceandcombat.Therearepartial
explanationsforhowtointerpretthosekindsofverses.Oneshouldtakeintoaccountthe
Arabicwordsusedandcontextoftheversesaroundthem.Thesituationwhentheywere

reconciletheQur'anandthetraditiontosayitcamefromthesamesource.

ThethemeoftherighttobenonMuslimisnotjustfoundinoneplace.Thepunishmentsare
harsh,buttheyareinthenextlife.

punishmentfornotacceptingIslamisinthehereafter,and
