Urgent letter to EU Comm. Mr Karmenu Vella & whom else this concerns!

Dear Mr Vella,
Animal Protection Organisation / APO writes you with great concerns. EU have previously
received a sound file that Sweden lies about the actual number of living wolves when they
present how many individuals we have. It has been proven that the state does not exclude
dead wolves when they present the number of wolves. APO dont mind send that file again
should you need it. It proved that Sweden had less than 250 living wolves left.
We are also fully aware that EU received the letter from our national police board, where they
stated last year that poaching alone is so severe that it alone seriously threatens the wildlife
management of our endangered predators. We can provide link to that letter as well should it
be needed.
Sweden announced a hunt on 44 individuals that became a complete bloodbath in January
2015. 26 pups (younger than 1 year) was killed. Most individuals were also completely
healthy.
As you are fully aware no one can appeal to an independent court anymore since that state
decided to violate the Aarhus convention and can do so with no repercussions what so ever. I
personally made a call to the County Board January 5th 2015. I made that call regarding the
protective cull on the female on Kroppefjll. The call was recorded and due to its length is
uploaded on Youtube. That female was killed without any proof she had done anything, nor
were there ever established if her mate had done any damage. The call turned out to a
complete confession from the County Board what we who try preserve these endangered
animals claimed for a very long time. Nothing was done to prevent any damage on any
livestock from the livestock holders spite awareness there were at least one wolf family in the
area. The farmers simply refused spite the EU Species and Habitat directive that speak about

having done everything possible to prevent damage before an endangered animal are to be
considered to be killed. The woman also informs me they are fully aware that hunters actually
send their own dogs in as live bait in order to get their three injured dogs that is the minimum
to get to kill the animal causing so called damage. It is nothing short of animal cruelty in form
of a sort of dog fight arena, except it takes place in the forest and the one who will be
guaranteed death is the endangered wolf once hunters get granted to kill. The fact that one
parent is killed will also result in the male not being able to support his pups. The family
becomes too weak to hunt larger prey, and more attacks on livestock that the keepers refuse to
protect will likely occur. With that these wolf haters will soon be able to kill even more
wolves.
The woman continues to inform me that these decisions gets granted on completely faulty
basis, and that people with authority above the woman fall for lobbyism in all this. The lies
and corruption in order to kill these endangered wolves are way beyond what one can
comprehend. It does not take a genius to realize that the same game is played by these hunters
when they use the 28 and shoot the wolf directly, after sending the dog out as live bait in
wolf territory. As far as we know, after every 28 that took place there have been no residue
under the wolfs claws or in its mouth that proves that the animal had attacked anyone or
anything.
We urge EU to get a translator and get the entire testimony recorded during my conversation
with the woman at the County Board. We have a complete disaster regarding the few wolves
we have left now and if EU dont act fast the rest will be eradicated.
We hereby send the link to the phone call recorded. (Something is wrong and the clip seem to
start at about 11 min or so. Simply draw it back to the beginning after opening it will solve
that little issue). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ywnawHjjU4
We with this urge you to act, intensely and fast. We also wish to receive information as to
what is now being done in the whole matter. Thank you.
Sincerely

Carola Ankar
