Plastic Corrugated Pipe

(ELP: Corrugated Hard Polyethylene Underground Electric

Pipe)
Feature
1. It is bended quite freely.
It is bended freely and is easy to make a detour construction against obstacles.
2. The unit length is long and is light.
The unit length of the pipe conduit is long and there
are less connecting parts, and we need fewer
workers which saves time. It is also much lighter
than other pipes, and it is easy to carry and lay
them.
3. It is strong under pressure and its durability
is excellent.
It is wavy shaped and the wavy pipe is thick, which
makes the strength of the flatness of compression stronger, and the pipe does not change with
any load after laid. Its chemical resistance and corrosion resistance are good as well.
4. It is even safe when ground sinks.
Its plasticity is good and its compressive strength is strong, which makes the pipe safe in an
earthquake and when the ground sinks.
5. Leading-in cable is easy and the cost of construction can be reduced a lot.
Friction coefficient is low and there is a wire in the pipe, which makes the leading-in of the cable
easy. It is economical with improved work efficacy and will keep its stability eternally.
A Subterranean Line and Execution Method
Earthworks
The width of digging should be set to a minimum considering the safety of and economic cost of
construction according to the number of buried pipelines. For the top earthen pipes, we should
try to stay safe, by keeping the distance over 1.2m for the places where there is collapse risk
from the pressure of heavy things including cars, and by keeping distance of over 0.6m for the
rest of the places.
The buried ground, which is excavated, should be filled with sand or with high quality soil, and
we should scatter the sand from the bottom of the ground in order to prevent sharp obstacles
from reaching the pipelines while trying not to make the pipes to be shaped like a U, , but to
make them flatways.

Straight Arrangement Pipe Work

When we lay pipelines with several sections in a premises, we need to keep a certain distance
between pipelines and the distance should be fixed with a board indicating intervals as you see
in the picture. We fill in the sections with sand, and get rid of the board when the pipelines are
fixed.
Test Bar Examination Work
As you see in the picture, we try to stay safe by checking product quality by leading the standard
test bar into the entrance of the pipe and then passing the bar through the inside of the pipe in
order to test the laid pipeline state.
Tie the
lead-in wire, number , to the
hole,
number . Put the PVC tape
around
the knot. Tie the rope, number ,
to the
other side of the bar, number ,
and put
the PVC tape around this knot, as
well. Pull
out the lead-in wire, number ,
and pull out the bar into the inside of the pipe. It can be checked if there is a problem or not by
the fact that the test bar passes through it.

Refilling
When the examination with the test bar is finished, we burry conduit lines using hands while
being careful not to put any soil, sand, and water into the entrance of the pipe, and there should
not be any problem with carrying, arrangement, and straight state of the pipes.
