A world
without coffee
By Paige Wooten
Coffee is a wonderful and
caffeine filled drink that can
give someone the energy
they need to get through
the day. It helps people stay
awake and to focus. What
would happen though if the
world went without coffee?
Would people be more tired,
lazy, and out of it, or would
they learn how to deal with
their energy problems in a
more healthy way?
We all have to face the fact
that coffee is not something
healthy in large quantities.
There have been many studies that prove the negative
effects of coffee. Coffee is
the second most commonly
sold product, with fuel being the first. This shows
just how many people rely
on coffee throughout their
day. Sixty-five percent of
Americans drink coffee with
their breakfast. Without coffee, the world would be at a
loss of energy. I know that I
couldnt go more than a week
without coffee, let alone my
whole life!
Coffee fun facts
Dorothy Jones was the
first licensed coffee brewer
in the USA.
Dark roasted coffee
beans contain less caffeine
than the lighter beans.
