Two people are required.

Deux personnes sont requises.

A. Before beginning the installation, make sure that

the door and return panels, if any, fit within the shower
enclosure. To do so, measure the height, width and
depth of the shower enclosure, and compare these
measures to those of the door and panels.

B. Double the studs were the wall jambs (3) will be

installed.
A. Avant de commencer linstallation, sassurer que
la porte et les panneaux de retour, sil en est,
sajustent bien par rapport louverture prvue
pour la douche. Pour ce faire, mesurer la hauteur,
la largeur et la profondeur de louverture et
comparer ces mesures celles de la porte et des
panneaux.

B. Doubler les montants de bois l o les montants

muraux (3) seront installs.
A. Antes de comenzar la instalacin, asegrese de que
la puerta y los paneles de retorno, si los hubiera, se
ajusten a la cabina de ducha. Mida la altura, el ancho
y la profundidad de la cabina de ducha y compare
esas medidas con las de la puerta y los paneles.

B. Duplicar los montantes en los lugares en los que se

instalarn los sujetadores murales (3).

A. Position and level the wall jamb (3) " from

the edge of the shower base.
B. Mark the fastening holes.
C. Drill the wall covering. [For ceramics always
use a ceramics " drill bit].
D. Apply silicone sealant behind the wall
jamb (3).
E. Fasten the wall jamb with the screws (17).

If no studs are behind the wall covering use wall anchors

(21) when fastening parts to the wall.

ancrages muraux (21) afin de fixer les pices au mur.
Si no hay montantes detrs del revestimiento, use anclajes

A. Positionner po du seuil de la base

de douche le montant mural (3) et le
mettre niveau.
B. Marquer les emplacements de fixation.
C. Percer le revtement. [Pour de la
cramique, toujours prendre une mche
cramique po].
D. Appliquer de la silicone derrire le
montant mural (3).
E. Fixer le montant mural laide des vis (17).

A. Ubicar la jamba mural (3) a " del reborde de

la base de la ducha y ponerla a nivel.
B. Marcar la ubicacin de los agujeros de
fijacin.
C. Taladrar el revestimiento de la pared. [Para
taladrar azulejos, use siempre una broca
para cermica de ".]
D. Colocar sellador de silicona detrs de la
jamba mural (3).
E. Sujetar la jamba mural con tornillos (17).

A. Place the sealing gasket (4) on the fixed

panel (2) opposite to the holes for the hinges.

A. Place two spacers (18) under the fixed panel (2).

B. Untighten the set screws on the wall jamb (3).
C. Insert the fixed panel (2) in the wall jamb (3).

C. Insrer le panneau fixe (2) dans le montant mural (3).
A. Colocar dos empaques (18) bajo el panel fijo (2).

B. Fully tighten the set screws using the MAAX screwdriver (19).
C. Insert the screw cover (5) in the wall jamb (3).
A. Mettre au niveau le panneau fixe (2).

C. Insrer le cache-vis (5) dans le montant mural (3).

A. Fix the bottom parts of the hinges (8) on

the fixed panel (2) with the Allen key (23)
and square them.
A. Fixer les parties infrieures des charnires

Make sure the hinges are well tightened and

square on the fixed panels. If the hinges differ from
image A, refer to hinge packaging for installation.

A. Apply silicone under the end block (12).

B. Place the end blocks (11) (12) at the base of
the fixed panels (2).
C. Tape the end block (12) in place until the
installation is completed.

A. Measure the distance between the end

blocks and add 1 inch.
B. Cut the track, based on this measure.
C. Apply silicone sealant under the track (10) and
the end block (11).
D. Insert the track (10) under the end block (12),
place the end block (11) on the track (10) and lay
down the parts in place.
E. Use masking tape to keep the track (10) and
the end block (11) in place until the installation is
completed.

A. Prendre la mesure entre les embouts et

ajouter 1 po.
B. Couper le rail selon cette mesure.
C. Appliquer de la silicone sous le rail (10) et

D. Insrer le rail (10) sous lembout (12), placer

(2) with the top hinge parts and the bottom parts
(8) with the MAAX screwdriver (9).

A. Open a door (1) and insert the installation jigs (16)

align with the hinges (8).
B. Close the door and adjust the gap using the hinges.
C. Adjust the hinges to level the doors.
D. Center the doors by adjusting all four hinges equally.
[Each hinge allows an adjustment of up to 3".]

A. Ouvrir une porte (1) et insrer les gabarits

dinstallation (16) la hauteur des charnires (8).
B. Fermer la porte et ajuster lespacement laide
des charnires.
C. Ajuster les charnires afin de niveler les portes.
D. Centrer les portes en ajustant galement les
quatre charnires. [Chaque charnire offre un
ajustement allant jusqu' 3 po.]

A. Use alcohol pad (22) to clean the edge of the door (1).
B. Insert the adjustment block (14) under the magnetic jamb (6).
[The adjustment block might be factory installed.]
C. Sit the magnetic jamb (6) with the adjustment block (14)
on the track (10).
D. Insert the magnetic jamb (6) on the door (1) as shown. Insure
the position of the magnetic jamb, remove the protective film
and apply pressure so the magnetic jamb adheres well to
the edge of the door.
E. Replace the adjustment block (14) with the correct sized
insert block (13). [Three sizes are available depending on
installation.]
A. Utiliser un tampon dalcool (22) afin de nettoyer le
rebord de la porte (1).
B. Insrer le bloc d'ajustement (14) sous le montant
magntique (6). [Le bloc d'ajustement peut avoir t
install en usine.]
C. Poser le montant magntique (6) avec le bloc
dajustement (14) sur le rail (10).

dmontr. Bien positionner le montant, retirer le
ruban protecteur et appliquer une pression afin que
le montant adhre bien au rebord de la porte.
E. Remplacer le bloc dajustement (14) par le bloc
dinsertion (13) de la taille qui convient. [Trois tailles sont
disponible dpendamment de l'installation.]

A. Utilizar un pao con alcohol (22) para limpiar los bordes

de la puerta (1).
B. Insertar el bloque de ajuste (15) debajo de la jamba
magntica (7). [Es posible que el bloque de ajuste ya est
instalado de fbrica.]
C. Apoyar la jamba magntica (6) con el bloque de ajuste (14)
sobre el riel (10).
D. Encastrar la jamba magntica (7) en la puerta (1) como se
indica en la ilustracin. Asegurarse de que la jamba est en la
posicin correcta, retirar la pelcula plstica y hacer presin
para que la jamba magntica se adhiera bien al borde de la
puerta.
E. Reemplazar el bloque de ajuste (14) por el bloque de

A. Open the door, apply the silicone tape (20)

on the edge of the door (1) and the side
sealing gasket (7) on the silicone taped (20)
edge, then cut a notch for the hinges.
B. Cut a notch in the bottom sealing gasket (9)
as needed.
C. Place the bottom sealing gasket (9) on
the door (1).
A. Ouvrir la porte, coller le ruban de silicone
(20) sur le rebord de la porte (1) et le joint
dtanchit de ct (7) sur le ruban de
silicone (20), puis faire une entaille pour les
charnires.
B. Faire une entaille dans le joint dtanchit
infrieur (9) selon le besoin.
C. Placer le joint dtanchit infrieur (9) sur
la porte (1).

A. Abrir la puerta, aplicar cinta adhesiva de

silicona (20) sobre el borde de la puerta (1), y
adherir la junta de estanqueidad lateral (7) a la
cinta adhesiva de silicona (20) y cortar una
muesca para las bisagras.
B. Cortar una muesca en la junta de estanqueidad
inferior (9) segn sea necesario.
C. Colocar la junta de estanqueidad inferior (9)
sobre la puerta (1).

fixed panels (2) and along the wall jambs
(3), inside and outside the doors.

an express limited warranty on each of its
products. This warranty extends only to
the original owner/end-user for personal
household use. For commercial uses,
additional limitations apply.
