Method Statement and Risk Assessment for Installation of Fuel
System:
Status B
1. Method statement should include the manufacturer recommended details with
drawings for tank installation
2. Incorporate details of Lifting and shifting of tanks.
3. The pipe coating shall be 3 mm thick and the surface shall be shot blasted as
specified.
4. Install anchor tank supports and seismic restraints as specified.
5. Comply with specification section 15191.
6. Ensure that the work is carried out by trained technicians under the supervision
of specialist engineers. All check lists shall be filled by the specialist.
7. The methods proposed in submission to be verified on site prior to start of work
and acceptable as per local civil defense. Any changes required complying with
specification, Authorities Having Jurisdiction and / or good engineering practice
etc. shall be agreed at site without any claims.
8. HSE measures and precautions stipulated on the attached risk assessment,
be verified on site prior to com. Working at height and its required precaution
be indicated in details and include risk assessment. Ensure presence
competent safety officer at the time of installations including lifting and shifting
material.
