Yes, the cast of 90 DAY FIANCE was in NYC for follow-up interviews yesterday in

Newark, NJ. There are 2 shows remaining in the series. On December 28th, they wi
ll show the interviews.
SPOILER!! -- SPOILER!! -- SPOILER!! -- SPOILER!!
Brett and Daya were in Bethlehem, Pa, on Sunday (Dec 7th) afternoon and sang Chr
istmas Carols with the Barnabite Heart To Heart Ministry at the Manor Care nursi
ng home in Easton, Pa. They were thrilled to be able to participate. The outpour
ing of love to the patients showed how big their hearts really are! This is who
Brett and Daya are. This couple is Christ centered! Being a nurse back in the Ph
ilippines, Daya knows how to interact with people very well. This is what you wo
n't see on the show! They are a beautiful couple!
NOTE - The Heart to Heart Ministry is a Filipino/American group who collect gent
ly used clothing and ship in boxes to areas around the world in need of assistan
ce. We have shipped over ten tons of clothing since the Typhoon Yolanda hit the
Philippines in November of last year.
On Monday morning (Dec 8th), my wife and I drove Brett and Daya to NYC and toure
d the city, some on foot, some by car - Rockefeller Center, NBC Studios, Central
Park, Empire State Building, Times Square, the World Trade Center. We even atte
nded mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral. Never did get to see the Statue of Liberty
. Oh well, next time!
The picture of Daya with her hands up? That was taken from inside the Subway san
dwich shop on West 54th Street where we had a late lunch.
We had the opportunity to meet Jason and Cassia at the Ameritania Hotel where th
e couples stayed. They are a very nice couple! They joined Brett, Daya and ourse
lves in visiting some of the sites. Cassia had to sit on Jason's lap since my ca
r is barely a five-seater! All were in awe when we reached Times Square! Like ch
ildren at Christmas time! All the lights, big screens, the history of Times Squa
re on New Year's Eve was overwhelming! Lots of picture taking!
It was a fantastic way to meet our new nephew, to meet other nice people and to
make a weekend experience that none of us will ever forget!!
Brett and Daya are leaving JFK airport Wednesday evening (tonight).
P.S. Please forgive me. This is my only post on this site. I don't really know h
ow to work the toolbar! Not sure if it will post correctly!!

Your nephew? Is Daya your niece?

Yes, Daya is my niece. I've been married to her aunt for 29 wonderful years!!
Daya was a Pediatric nurse in the Philippines. She will upgrade her skills to US
standards. Another thing no one knows is that while in the Philippines she dona
ted part of her pay to the nuns who ran an orphanage for orphaned and abandoned
children. There is so much more to know about her, but no one will see the real
Daya because the show does not want to show who she really is.

I am so proud of Daya and she made an excellent choice for a husband in Brett, w
ho has has also been shown in a bad light. They truly love each other. Brett is
a very good man!

Regarding Cassidy: I am only assuming that a court ordered visitation schedule i

s being followed. Brett did Skype Cassidy while they stayed in our house. They t
alked for a while and Brett tried to introduce her to us, but she must have gone
to hide. She is a very shy little girl.
Make no mistake, Daya loves Cassidy and they had an excellent Skype/Email relati
onship LONG before Daya came to the states. The tears were real when Cassidy lef
t. Daya loves children. She has many young nieces and nephews herself back home
and on the numerous occasions I visited the Philippines on vacation, I saw every
thing that would lead me to believe that someday she would make a terrific mothe
r.
There is a picture on the web of the couples together having a meal here in NY o
r NJ. I didn't see Justin and Evelyn. Danielle may have been behind someone in t
he picture. I know very little about the other couples, so I really don't want t
o give any misleading information.

It wasnt really difficult at all to watch! We know the real Daya and we realized
quickly the show wasnt portraying them as they really are. Daya is a very religio
us person. She and Brett go to mass, attend Bible study classes together, they s
ay grace before meals, etc. Daya is such a sweet person!! She always talks about
God and her Catholic faith! But the producers would not allow any of this to be
shown. I guess since they had Danny and Amy as the religious couple, a new image
needed to be created. Dont believe the other couples are exactly as they seem eit
her.

Daya was given the bad girl image from the start. So how did this other Daya come
out? Truth be told! The couples were led to believe that this show was going to
be a romantic comedy show. They were encouraged to act certain ways because the
funnier or meaner they were or more outrageous the expressions they gave, the fu
nnier the show would be!

As I said in an earlier post, its Entertainment TV at its best! The more outrageo
us the couples, the better! It keeps everyone glued to their TV sets! It generat
es a lot of talk, builds ratings and oh, yes those negative comments, this forum
included! But these are coming from people who judge Brett and Daya based only
on what theyve been given to see. It was quite disturbing to Daya in the beginnin
g, but she has then realized the same thing as we did. The viewers didnt know the
m. Theyve since developed thick skins, and often laugh at the negative comments.
And they are now sort of enjoying their semi-celebrity status! Checked their FB
pages. Theyre loving it now!!

Ive tried to post some positive comments on the 90 Day Fiance Facebook page, incl
uding a picture of them singing Christmas Carols at the nursing home I mentioned
earlier. They are quickly pulled down by the Moderator. You know why of course.

Please try to view the last 2 episodes the way I do. Since you now know Daya a l
ittle better, please remember the show is for entertainment. I know better, but
I still find myself booing some of the cast! Thats how much I like the show!! I s
ee it for what it is. Entertainment.

Oh, and Ill forgive the previous poster okerry for the comments made. Daya would ha
ve wanted me to do so.

Maybe they didnt even know there was a 1st season. Or maybe the appeal of being o
n TV was too great; being on what they thought would be a comedy show. They also
get paid. I wont reveal how much. Brett and Daya agree however, that it wasnt wor
th it. It was a major disruption in what was supposed to be a wonderful time in
their lives. And it was very stressful. Yes they have some "fame", but it wll fa
de quickly, just like the 1st seasons cast.
The casting call has gone out already for the 3rd season show. As Brett said to
me, they dont know what theyre getting themselves into!
