A. STANDARD COMPETENCE
students are able to understand the meaning of written text simple functional form of
short essays report, narrative, and procedure texts in the context of their daily lives and to
access knowledge.
B. COMPETENCE
Students are able to respond the meaning and rhetorical steps accurately, fluently, and
acceptable by using a variety of written language in the context of their daily lives in the
form of narrative text.
C. INDICATORS
1. To find factual information in Narrative Text.
2. To locate and identify the generic structure on narrative text; orientation,
complication, and resolution.
3. To make inference on narrative text.
4. To analyze the meaning of certain words on narrative text.
5. To locate or identify facts such as the names of characters, the time of the story or the
place of the story on narrative text.
