The Glamour Card designed by Textile Design students Jaswant Daranga and Neil
Sarjal won Second Place in WOW Factor Award at World of Wearable Art Show held at
Wellington, New Zealand
Eight students from NIFT Delhi were selected for Regional Level for the Wills Lifetsyle
The Debut 2013Contest; and out of them four students were selected for the Finals.
Ms. Apurva Shroff of Leather Department, Semester VIII, participated in the Poster
Competition titled Rise against Rapeorganized by Apne Aap Women Worldwide, and
received a Special Mention Award.
Mr. Udhayadhana Singh Arul Selvan, student of Textile Design semester IV got 4th rank
in World Skill Completion.
Students of Fashion Communication Dept. Nitasha Jha, Atishay Mathur & Shaiwal
Mundya won the 1st Prize in Hackathon organised by the Planning Commission and the
National Innovation Council.
Student of Fashion Design Dept. Soumodeep Dutta won the First prize in National
Design Contest organised by Gokaldas Exports.
