n counts of conspiracy murder.Five hundred and twenty-seven counts of obstructio
n of justice. How do the defendants plead?
Bane : Every man who has lotted here over the centuries, has looked up to the li
ght and imagined climbing to freedom. So easy, so simple! And like shipwrecked m
en turning to seawater foregoing uncontrollable thirst, many have died trying. A
nd then here there can be no true despair without hope. So as I terrorize Gotham
, I will feed its people hope to poison their souls. I will let them believe tha

Joker : Introduce a little anarchy, upset the established order and everything b

Joker : Do you wanna know why I use a knife? Guns are too quick. You can't savor
all the... little emotions. You see, in their last moments, people show you who
they really are. So in a way, I knew your friends better than you ever did. Wou

Bane : Theatricality and deception, powerful agents to the uninitiated. But we a
