A note about PDF files

PDF stands for Portable Document Format.
A PDF file will look the same on the screen
as in print regardless of what kind of
computer you are using or which software
package it was created from. Any computer
can view a PDF file using Adobe Reader,
which can be downloaded from the
Adobe website (www.adobe.com).

particular, formulae and symbols), then

remove the need for reformatting
tables.

or press Ctrl + C on your keyboard.

For further information on help with Adobe Reader, click on Help on the menu
bar at the top of the screen and select Adobe Reader Help.

If you want to customise any of the

pages from the Tutor Resource File, you
can copy and paste the text and images
into Microsoft Word (or another word
processing application). You need to be
aware that the order of text can be
affected when you paste PDF files into a
word processing document, so it is best
to copy blocks of text rather than
attempting to copy a whole page at a
time.
