Description:

SikaLastomer -710 is a butyl paste


cured under normal temperature
conditions to form a product of low
modulus of elasticity.
This product may be used for a variety of joints such as industrial
structures, construction and maintenance of buses, caravans, aut omobiles, metallic constructions,
etc. It is especially suitable for
those cases where there is the
possibility of future
disassembly.

SikaLastomer -710 has good adherence without primer when used


as a gasket seal glass, aluminium,
wood, metal, rubber, plastics, etc.
Chemical resi stance:

SikaLastomer -710 has good resistance to water, dilute chemical


products and marine conditions,
etc.

SikaLastomer -710 is not resistant


to organic acids and caustic solutions or organic solvents.

SikaLastomer -710 has also good


resistance to ageing and UV radiation.
Method of application:
The product should be applied to
surfaces, which are clean, dry and
free of dust, oil and grease and at
a temperature between 5C and
35C.
In case of doubt, we recommend
testing prior to final application of
the product.

Joints made with SikaLastomer 710 are easily finished with the

help of Sika Remover-208.


Freshly applied excess material
should be trimmed from the joint
with a spatula or knife. The excess
material can be removed immediately or up to one day after application. Clean the remaining material from adjacent surfaces with

Sika Cleaner-205.
