Why are you applying?

Frankly, this question seems to me

redundant. Higher education or a similar route that enhances ones
adaptability to nowadays society and purposefully fills ones bundle
of knowledge is a must-have, not because we are required so by
the pragmatic features of our world, yet because we need to evolve
conscientiously. I feel I take part of the new generation, a
generation capable more than ever to mould its future, a generation
that shall project its youthful wisdom onto the world and that can
only be achieved through collaboration and ambition. From all the
innumerable, glaring, exciting and so beautifully evolving choices, I
could only lay my eyes on computer science. Words can hardly
describe the eagerness I have over this field or the frenzy of
initiatives I may indulge in with the help of programming. It just
soothes my mind, setting it on a clear track, getting the wheels
spinning. Lovely enough, computer science lets you take shortcuts
even in industry whereas programming languages are getting more
practical and powerful and useful and alluring at a really fast pace
and how on earth wouldnt you love to be capable of using such
power? Willing to use my cognitive aptitudes in a divergent manner
for the rest of my life, I chose computer science as I feel ready to
adapt to the changes mentioned earlier. Thus, applying in the
United Kingdom is by far my best choice for me not only because
the learning and working opportunities are innumerable, but also
because I see the UK prosper and centralised country with a

diversity well enough defined, fit for the development of my

aptitudes and hobbies.
What makes you suitable? Basically, the fact that I do not consider
myself a complete rookie in the field. Within high school years I
have endeavoured into the vast universe crayoned by programming.
Having pursued several programming projects either alone or in
groups granted me genuine insight in this field and the fact that I
earned quantifiable achievements from national contests (InfoMatrix
and MobilPro) or special prizes (from IBM) really cleared my mind
regarding some directions I want to embark on via computer
science. Recently, I have applied and Im taking place in an
internship organized by a local programming company, Memshare
Development.
Being passionate about the English language is another aptitude
that may grant me suitability for the course. Participating and being
awarded at national and regional Public Speaking or Debate
contests carried out in English language by the British Council
proved others, but mostly myself that English is one language that I
can make use of similarly to my mother tongue.
Concurrently with my fixation on computer science, I am also
wishing to pamper myself with different aspirations such as hobbies
or passions, thus not tunnel visioning the former. In this manner, I
followed the arts, either literature by contributing to a local literature

magazine as a redactor or theatre and managing to participate at

an international festival of theatre, FetLyf. Likewise, Im a passionate
of extreme sports, mainly slacklining, longboarding and
snowboarding, that I do not cease to practice as mind soother.
Being able to adapt to different environments and field of studies
seem to me important enough considering the vast horizon that a
country like UK and diverse study field as Computer Science grant.
Which of your skills and experiences are most relevant? As
exemplified before, adaptability and determination. Being able to
cope with stress, huge workloads and deadlines second in
importance, aptitudes developed, I think, within all learning mediums
I attended to. Similarly, teamwork, leadership and effective
resource management are of upmost importance, and Im satisfied
enough to be able to list these finesses in my curriculum. Not
above all, yet as a binder, I can boast with decent abstract thinking
capability, combining arts and logic matters with a shade of Ada
Lovelaces spirit.
