Making an impact. A better NDSU and Fargo

This is a bold and visionary project that combines a
green philosophy to improve our community/world
and with technology to make it easy to use and
popular. I think use will mirror what we have seen
with our MATBUS system. In the first year there
were about 66,000 riders and the most recent
report shows more than a million rides, only
about 12 years later. This is the kind of rapid
adaption I think will occur with the bike program.
It will save students money while helping to save our
planet, one ride at a time.

the system is on the NDSU Campus but NDSU only pays for 1/4 of the

Automatic Enrollment: All NDSU students
NDSU Students will be pre-enrolled by paying roughly
$5.00/year through existing fees. This is not from new fees.
By comparison University of Minnesota students pay $55.00/year
11X less than a U of M student.
13X less than a Nice Ride yearly subscriber.
NDSU paying the same rate as a U of M student with
14,629 students would pay nearly $1,000,000 per year.
