Study Plan

I am grateful for you to give me an opportunity to express my study

plan regarding my aims and ideals for my further education. During my
secondary school life, I found my interest, the theoretical Physics of
time and space, and also astronomy. As a secondary school graduate, I
am cheerful to hear that your department is precisely in line with my
interest. Therefore, I chose your division of Physics department which I
think that is a starting point of my dream.

Learning
My teachers had recommended your department to me when I chose
an university. After reading in your introduction about your department,
I have been attracted deeply. I really appreciate your idea to attach
great importance to students' future and provide them with special
curriculums. Moreover, your department pays more attention to
student's studying, and the students are learning seriously so I think I
will be influenced in there. It gave me a hope to go beyond the
horizons and acquire knowledge of highest level. A particularity of
university is it can give students an opportunity to go on exchange.
Surprisingly, NTHU is giving more exchange chance than Hong Kong's
universities. It seems I have a higher possibility to get a chance to
exchange. Exchange can really make student independent as well as
explore their potential. Therefore, I would apply to participate in the
exchange actively in my university life. Before that, I should work hard
in my study to attain a good academic result. It is no denying that the
ability can communicate and exchange with other students more
convenience. Only learning the standard knowledge of Physics is not
enough for me. Astronomy is a branch subject in Physics, which I want
to put more attention on ones during the university. During my free
time, I will take a self-study in the library to further my study subject. I
hope to equip myself and take a master degree of Institute of
Astronomy in the future.
In order to enhance my self-confidence in learning, I would discuss with
different professors to understand their own Physics comprehensions.
In addition, I would like to learn more and more knowledge by getting
involved in research with a group of scholars.

Activities
Participating in extra-curricular activities is the most necessary at
university in Taiwan, not only can I challenge myself, but also get an
experience to perfect my physics comprehension. Because of this, I will
try to take part in different kinds of activities such as "The annual
meeting of the Physical Society of Republic of China (PSROC)", which is
important as it provides a platform for physicists to stimulate their
thinking as well as promote their motivation. Through taking part in it, I
also can rectify my wrong concepts. Thus, I want to participate in this
every year in my study life of university. Then improve the daily life for
people and enhanced the life quality by using the sciences which are
conclude by all different comprehensions.

I hope that you will acknowledge my interest in Physics and Astronomy,

and make my dream come true under the guidance of your faculty.
Furthermore, I sincerely look forward to putting my study plan into
practice as well as fulfilling my interest at NTHU.
