Lock out Tag out procedures must be applied before commencing work
Cold & hot work permit should be issued and signed daily.
Safety meeting will be held on location daily, with all personnel involved in the task
Keep all walkways, stairs and around place clear of obstructions.
Clean up any spillage of oil /chemicals immediately.
All tools must be in good condition, and the correct tools for the work
Use only correctly color coded lifting equipment (blue)
All workers must wear correct PPE at all times
Inspect All Lifting Tools And Check For Color Coded
ICC should be issued
A copy of procedure should be on work site
Gas free check should be applied before starting the job
Remove any source of ignition at work place
Fire extinguisher and trained person should be valid during the work
Good communication between performing authority before and during the job to ensure every body understand
the written proced. And risk assis. For the job

Isolation Procedures :1.

Close main Fuel valve & Open the vent valve of the fuel filter to ensure the fuel pressure
become zero LOTO

2.

Disconnect magneto cable list on isolation certificate

3.

Close air starter air valve LOTO

4.

Close suction & discharge valve of the pump & Open drain valve LOTO

5. Make sure by monitoring the pressure gauge on suction and discharge line of the pump that
the reading of the gauges are zero and there is no pressure build up in the system (if there is
leak from the valves causing pressure build up dont resume the job)

Procedures: 6. Open two holes in the upper deck above the radiator
(MM)
7. install two inspected pad eye in the two holes and suspend two chain hoist 5ton
(MM)
8. remove the old radiator by the two chain hoist and put it in walkway at front of the package
9. lift the old radiator by p/f. crane to boat or loading area
10. modify the radiator skid to adapt the new radiator
(MM)
11. remove the instrument panel away from the radiator
(E&I)
12. lift the new radiator from loading area or boat by p/f. crane and put it opposite the engine

13. Lift the new radiator by the two chain hoist and install it above its skid
14. Tighten the radiator skid bolts

15. Adjust leveling and alignment and install the belts

(MM)

16. Fabricate and connect all the inlet & outlet piping of the radiator

(MM)

17. Install the instrument panel at new location

(MM)

18. Grease all bearings ( fan & idler )

(MM)

19. Remove the isolation from the pump & engine

(MM)

20. Start the engine and check for any leakage

(MM)
