Most important leave passage provision related setting is done via IMG setting, following screenshot
and steps show the detail configuration.

3.3.1

Implement actions for Personnel Administration

3.3.1.1
Maintain home airports in view V_T7QA08;
Those home airports will be available for employees to select in their personnel information.

Define home airports details in view V_T7QA11;
This view including details on provision rate and encashment rate for leave passage to calculate
provisioning.

Maintain leave passage entitlement in view V_T7QA18;
This value enables you to maintain entitlement details: including ticket class, max number of
dependents, leave passage cycle, employee tickets per cycle and dependent tickets per cycle.

Determine value for group in home airport via feature QAAPD;
The system uses this feature to determine the value that applies to a group when reading the Home
Airport (QA) (T7QA11) table. You use this feature to assign groups to various combinations of employee
master data.

The return value of this feature determines the absence quota types to be used for employee ticket
accrual

The first wage type is used to store provision rate and next one is used to store encashment rate.

When the employee applies tickets for returning back to home or travelling, the corresponding
compensation method will be maintained in ITY 0416 (Time Quota Compensation) to calculate ticket
encashment.

Model wage types for leave passage ticket encashment;
If you need add more dependents for employees, you could copy those existing wage types to create
new ones.

Assign wage types to quotas to be compensated in view V_T556W;

the following technical wage types where created for the purpose of storing the rate for provision and
encashment per individual as well as per dependent, if you need add more dependents for the
employee, you could copy dependents encashment rate to create new ones. And the below wage types
are assigned to the applicable leave passage quota in table T7QA20.

Assign encashment method to be processed in off-cycle payroll as your need in

view V_T7QA31;
those encashment methods that maintained in this view, they only can be processed in off-cycle payroll.

3.3.3 Leave Passage Provisioning

3.3.3.1 New time schema for provide provisioning balances for leave passage quota types
3.3.3.1.1 Leave passage provision in Time Management; you need copy standard time schema
TM04 to create your own customer schema for provisioning calculation. In this customer schema, new
sub-schema QAPP and function QUOTA should be added.

Sub-schema QAPP: this sub-schema can be incorporated in the time schema just after function QUOTA.
The purpose of the sub-schema is to create leave passage provisioning wage types based on leave
passage quota balances.

3.3.3.1.2 Flight ticket balance via PCR QA90; this rule calculates the remaining balances of the
quota types for leave passage accrual. This amount is evaluated in payroll as part of the leave passage
provisioning process.

3.3.3.2 New wage types for carrying the provisioning ticket balance; if you need add more
dependents for the employee, you need create more three wage types for provisioning, you could refer
to those existing wage types:

3.3.3.3 Leave provisioning previous month total reversal

3.3.3.3.1 Transfer previous period provision via PCR QA42; this rule populates the wages type
used clear the total provisioning of the previous payroll. This wage type is then used to post contra to
the current months total provisioning.

3.3.3.3.2 Remove retro provisioning totals via PCR QA48; this rule removes the provisioning
values from the input table during an off-cycle payroll run. Provisioning totals should not be calculated
during an off-cycle payroll run.

3.3.3.3.3 Create provision wage types in retro period via PCR QA33; during retro calculation, the
original values calculated for EOSB provision remain unchanged and therefore the original results are
used in a retro month

3.3.3.3.4 Carry over leave passage provision totals in off-cycle via PCR QA47; this rule is
performed in an off-cycle to ensure that results from the previous period are not lost when an off-cycle
payroll occurs. If two off-cycles occur one after another, the wage type transferred in the previous offcycle is also transferred to the next off-cycle.
