Management of the State-of-the-Art Pack House
Clarifications to the queries raised by prospective bidders during the Pre – Bid Meeting held on 11th December 2009 at the Committee Room of
PSAMB, Chandigarh

9 Correction: The Clause 6.1 of the Management Contract is: “Within
4 (four) weeks of execution of this Management Contract, a
Maintenance Board shall be constituted by the Owner, having
representation from the Owner and Operator. Maintenance Board
shall comprise of 5 (five) members out of which 2 (two) shall be
nominated by the Owner, 1 (one) shall be a representative of Punjab
Post Harvest Technology Centre Ludhiana, 1 (one) shall be a
representative of Secretary- Marketing Committee and 1 (one) by
the Operator and headed by representative of the Owner.”
10. Correction: The Clause 5.1 (xv) of the Management Contract is
“Shall have the right to alter the cold storage facility into ripening
facility and vice versa, at its own cost, with the prior approval of the
Owner. However, Operator shall ensure that no damage is caused
to the Facility and the related infrastructure in relation to the
concerned technical parameters. Also, at all times, the Operator
shall be made liable for any damages caused to the Facility or any
of its components”

The Clause 6.1 of the Management Contract shall be read as

1 (one) shall be nominated by the Operator and Secretary
Marketing Committee Ludhiana will be the Fifth member.”
The Clause 5.1 (xv) of the Management Contract shall be read as
follows: “Shall have the right to alter the cold storage facility into
