 Mohd Rizal Ibrahim Mohd Sultan, CEO

Rizal started his profession as Group Client/Server Specialist in Intel in

1997 with consistent achievements where he earned the role as
Asia Ops Manager.   He played a crucial member of Intel’s IT
architecture and strategic and capital planning up to >US
$3Million annual budget inclusive of managing a team of 8 DC
Managers, 5 server specialist.  

During his tenure in Intel, he sat in the key IT organization team where
he oversaw the IT budget and maintains responsibility for
performance management, IT acquisition oversight,
development and training.   He was also responsible in
managing IT data center for 7 Intel campuses in Malaysia, PRC,
Philippines, Singapore, Japan, Australia, Korea and India with
massive total of > 30000 sq/ft foot print hosting >10,000 servers.  
His role was inclusive of infrastructure server operation,
enterprise application and backup/restore.

Rizal has vast understanding in the evolution of current technology and

regional IT projects and products management, end-to-end
program life cycle phases, budget planning, risk assessment
and global stakeholder management. A Certified ITIL Service
Manager, Rizal has proven his capability in delivering optimal IT
supply to the business needs and achieved a total of
>US1Million business value returns.

Rizal brings with him wealth of knowledge in project management,

higher density DC management, VPN/SSL technology, SOX
compliancy and ITIL adoption know how. Rizal has participated
in multiple Intel hosted regional DC conferences with external
industry player since 2006 and is considered as regional DC
expert within Intel IT.

As the CEO, reporting to the board of directors, Rizal looks after day-
to-day activities of the corporation and for operations
management including resources, distributions and responsible
for the development, design, operation and improvement of the
systems that create and deliver the firm’s products and services
in the most efficient and effective manner.

With good domain knowledge of the business and industry, he aligns

the company, internally and externally with the the right
approach. He develops high-level strategies, making main
corporate decisions, and directing its overall growth with the
designated teams and departments.

 Zulkifli Zakaria, CTO
Bachelor with Honors, Information Technology, UUM
8i’s CTO Office 
Zulkifli started his career in Intel as IT Communication Engineer in 1995
and had progressed extensively as Asia District Network and
Security Ops Manager till 2009.   His roles covered from site
network infrastructure including design, build, setup, run and
manage a critical support 24X7 IT Team for plants, workstations
involving 13 major buildings, production floor and manufacturing
lines with more than 200 nodes deployments within scheduled on
the SECC platform. He was then entrusted to manage the network
operations and security system to deliver high level of security
integrity through the convergence of Security and IT technology
with state of the art surveillance system for overall Intel Malaysia
(Penang, Kulim, KL an Cyberjaya) and 5 countries such as
Singapore, India, China, Philippines and Japan.

Under his day-to-day network and specific IT operations, he oversaw up to

US$5Million annual operation budget with business value return
result.   He also led the Intel Malaysia WAN circuit and firewall
upgrade that involved the upgrade of 128KB to 4MB circuit. This
upgrade has completely reduced WAN connection outages for Intel
sub con connection from 2 cases a month to zero.   Business value
return due this project is US$500K per outage avoidance.

With 14 years of experience in the fast-pace Technology Leader Intel,

Zulkifli is now overseeing a new chapter of work in 8i’s and
continues to manage the equally competent team from Intel to
deliver highest quality of work to 8i’s valued and prominent
customers.

Mohammad Junaidi Abdul Rahim, Head of IT

Bachelor with Honors, Computer Science, USM
Junaidi brings with him a 13 years of experience in the core IT services,
email, security, storage including server-client system and network
management.  He acquired in-depth knowledge from UNIX
environment in oil  & gas arena  to manufacturing computing
infrastructure; Wintel, Nett Apps,  shop floor control and  storage
(SAN EVA5k and EVA8K). 

His role in Intel was inclusive of    > 2 years assignment in Intel US to
participate in  software enhancement and multiple program
deployments where he was responsible to plan, implement and
manage of site storage and back up facility, shop floor
manufacturing system, facility start up, system testing  &
integration  and completion of  software enhancement (AutoCCC,
Ifics) inclusive of seamless vast technology transfer from Santa
Clara, US to Malaysia.   Junaidi’s success put him in the leadership
role of people management, incident/problem management,
resources, and operations with annual budget of >US$5Million.  He
surpassed SLA with multiple vendors in hardware and software
support, which includes authoring/sustaining of underpinning
deliverables and tracking of vendor key performance index
through periodic service level report with structured and
continuous improvement on system robustness and supplier
partnership.
