'My child seems to have lost concentration in his studies entirely,' is a common- cause to get
Vastu advice to solve their problems. When MahaVastu experts analyzed their homes on the
basis of the 4-step Vastu method, i.e., Effects of Entrance, Rooms, Five Elements and Objects;
they found some interesting reasons.
Location of the child's bed being in East-SouthEast (ESE), MahaVastu zone of churning and
anxiety was a major reason found by the experts. When you sleep in this zone of your house, you
start facing inner conflicts and doubts. This is the greatest impediment in focusing your attention
and grasping of the subject. Even their books placed in this zone led to poor understanding and
retention due to excessive analysis.
Energies of ESE Vastu zone also govern analytical abilities and so, have to be maintained in
balance. If this zone is weak in strength, for example, due to presence of a shaft or a balcony, it
gets imbalanced. Similarly, if there is a kitchen then also it increases aggression in their mind
(thinking process) and as a result your child is unable to perform well and seems irritated.
Normally, bedroom in this zone is not recommended but if the child is involved in some research
work then making him sit here will improve his analytical capability.
Ideally, child's bedroom should be located in the West-SouthWest of (WSW) MahaVastu zone.
This will improve his interest towards his studies and will motivate him to practice more. Lack
of concentration basically generates on account of disinterest in the subject but if you also keep
his books in this zone, then it will develop his concentration in his studies.
Apart from correct location of bedroom, you must also take care of right colours in the right
direction; for example, avoid shades of red and dark yellow in NorthEast (NE), Vastu zone of
clarity of mind and shades of green and red in SouthWest, Vastu zone of skills. These small but
very powerful Vastu tips will help your child develop a sharp focus, strong concentration, better
retention power and improved analytical ability.
