HOW QUALITY CAN BE CHECKED?

Establishing & adopting recognized standard
specifications for inspecting the quality of the
finished products.

Collective marks: Signs used to distinguish

certain valued characteristics common to the
product.

Certification marks: Distinctive signs used to

indicate compliance with standards and
characteristics. The message conveyed by a
certification mark is that the products have
been examined, tested, inspected, or in some
way checked by a person who is not their
producer.

Indian Silk marks

Geographical indication (GI) : Sign used on

goods that have a specific geographical origin
