fungsinya.
Peraturan Pemerintah No. 41 Tahun 1999 Tentang : Pengendalian Pencemaran Udara
Keputusan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia nomor 1407/MENKES/SK/XI/2002
peruntukannya.
Keputusan Menteri Negara Kependudukan dan Lingkungan Hidup nomor: KEP02/MENKLH/I/1988 tentang Pedoman Penetapan Baku Mutu Lingkungan

Air pollutant is any substance emitted into the air from an anthropogenic, biogenic, or
geogenic source, that is either not part of the natural atmosphere or is present in higher
concentrations than the natural atmosphere, and may cause a short-term or long-term
adverse effect.

Air pollution is the presence of substances in air in sufficient concentration and for
sufficient time, so as to be, or threaten to be injurious to human, plant or animal life, or to
property, or which reasonably interferes with the comfortable enjoyment of life and
property.

Air pollution may be defined as any atmospheric condition in which certain substances
are present in such concentrations that they can produce undesirable effects on man and his
environment.

Air pollution may be defined as any atmospheric condition in which substances are
present at concentrations high enough above their normal ambient levels to produce a
measurable effect on man, animals, vegetation, or materials.

Air pollution occurs when the air contains gases, dust, fumes or odour in harmful
amounts. That is, amounts which could be harmful to the health or comfort of humans and
animals or which could cause damage to plants and materials.

including noise and radioactive radiation in the atmosphere in such concentration that may

be directly and indirectly injurious to humans or other living organisms, plants, property or
interferes with the normal environmental processes.

enjoyment of life or property.

Air pollution is the presence in ambient atmosphere of substances, generally resulting
from the activity of man, in sufficient concentration, present for a sufficient time and under
circumstances which interfere significantly with the comfort health or welfare of person or
with the full use or enjoyment property.

affects the well being of the individual or causes damage to property.

droplets, and particulates, or of excessive amounts of normal constituents either from
natural sources such as volcanoes , or from mans activities.
