SUBJECT:Invitation to the 2nd Annual MUSTIVAL Contest

Dear Sir/Madam,
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that, the American Society of Mechanical
Engineers MUST Student Chapter invites you/your institution to our 2nd Annual
Mustival15 Contest being held from 3rdAprilto 5thApril 2015at Mirpur
University of Science & Technology (MUST), Mirpur, AJ&K.
MUST Institute is, undoubtedly, one of the most prestigious and renowned
engineering universities in Pakistan with an overwhelming professionalism in
engineering. Apart from its exceptional academic programs, the institute is also
renowned for the versatile and spirited extracurricular events. MUST is located near
theMangla Dam, which makes it one of the safest and most beautiful places in
Pakistan. The strategic location of the institute adds to the exclusivity of such events.
MUSTIVAL is one of the largest events that take place every year in MUST. The main
purpose of this event is to help students relate the academic and theoretical
knowledge acquired over the years to its practical significance and implementation. It
is an opportunity to test them against the best in the country and to scrutinize their
abilities and potential before the inevitable dive into the realms and rigors of
professional life. The event envisages fascinating modules that give a stern
examination to the student's creativity, thinking skills and radical decision making.
Apart from the Modules, our event has a handful of social events including Theme
Dinner, sports , Drama Night, & a Motivational Session from one of Pakistans well
known speaker. The hosts of MUSTIVAL15, will be extremely honored if you took part
in our event. This year we aspire to reach new heights and set up outstanding
standards that would indeed prove to be a unique experience for you. Team ASME

ASME MUST STUDENT CHAPTER:

American Society of Mechanical Engineers MUST Chapter has gained a significant
place among technical societies in MUST in a short interval of time. It is first and only
registered International society in MUST. Through conduction of milestone Intra level
events it has become a symbol of excellence in MUST. Moreover it has also
contributed towards bridging the gap between industry and academia by arranging
various seminars. Its performance is a manifestation of its mission, which is to
promote the art of Engineering among students and to provide students with industry
exposure. Comprising of highly talented and motivated individuals working under the
able leadership of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering MUST, ASME MUST Students
Chapter aspires to be a top student technical society, not only in MUST but
throughout Pakistan ASME section.
ASME has contributed a lot in polishing students abilities by conducting different
technical and non-technical competitions and tours not only in MUST but also by
participating in different competitions of renowned universities of Pakistan. We are
committed to flourish intellectual skills but also groom their personalities in a manner
so that could be successful in their professional life. Apart from academic life ASME
also provides recreational facilities to the students to groom the social aspect of their
personality and to give them a break from hectic routine of university life.

MUSTIVAL14
Last year ASME MUST conducted an inter departmental competition named as
Mustival14. It was the first very successful academic and social event in the history
of MUST. More than 350 students from all the departments of MUST participated in 5
different modules, with full zest and vigor. The main theme of Mustival14 was to
provide a platform for the young minds of MUST where they put forward their creative
ideas and skills. Moreover we invited two young entrepreneurs, who helped them
highlighting the weak points of their ideas and enlighten them about actual ground
realities of professional life. Mustival14 brought a change in the minds of MUSTians
and motivated them a lot. Also MUstival14 created a new environment of conducting
these kinds of academic and social events.

modules that give a stern examination to the student's creativity, thinking skills and
radical decision making.
It is a three day experience in which students from all universities are invited, It
consists of 7 modules related to both Arts and Engineering that will challenge the
