Interpretation:
According to the result of Teenage Depression survey. Out of 41 female
respondents. 51% or 21 of them said that Academics are the common cause of
their depression. 22% or 9 answered Family are the common cause of their
depression. 12% or 5 of them said that Peer Pressure is the common cause of
their depression. 7% or 3 of them said Relationship/Lovelife is the common
cause of their depression. And lastly 7% or 3 of them answered that Financial
Problem is the common cause of their depression.
For Female students we can say that the common causes of their depression are
Academics. However Relationship/Lovelife and Financial Problem are equally the
same this may imply that Relationship/Lovelife and Financial problem nowadays has
the same level of depression for a student.

respondents. 26% or 10 of them said that Relastionship/Lovelife is the common
cause of their depression. 18% or 7 of them said that Peer Pressure is the
common cause of their depression. 10% or 4 of them said that Financial
Problem is the common cause of their depression. 23% or 9 of them said that
Family is the common cause of their depression. And lastly 23% or 9 of them
answered that Academics is the common cause of their depression.
For Male students we can say that the common causes of their depression are
Relationship/Lovelife. However Family and Academics are equally the same this
may imply that Relationship/Lovelife and Academics nowadays has the same level
of depression for a student.
Generalization:
From the gathered data presented. Female Teenagers ages form 16 to 19
years old from Far Eastern University believed that the common cause of their
depression is through academics. However for Male Teenagers ages form 13 to 19
years old from Far Eastern University believed that the common cause of their
depression is through Relationship.
Student life is difficult to handle there are a lot of challenges that they will face from
the day they entered to a University. Those depressions that they are encountering
are just a challenge for them to be wiser and learn their mistake and are it to avoid
this kind of depression.
