This is in reference to our discussion regarding campus recruitment activity for our
outgoing students. It will be our ardent privilege if you visit Chhatrapati Shivaji Institute of
Technology, Durg [Chhattisgarh].
We are pleased to introduce ourselves as a growing institute in the field of technical
education. C. S. I. T. Established in the year 1999 at Durg, Chhattisgarh is an AICTE approved
ISO 9001 2008 CERTIFIED & NBA Accredited engineering institute, affiliated to
Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University Bhilai [Chhattisgarh]. We are running
Undergraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering,
Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering,
Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Information Technology and Mechatronics
Engineering and Post Graduate courses in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science &
Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and has a track record of
outstanding performances of its pass-outs in different spheres.
In a world where technology is changing very fast, it is indeed a challenging task to cater
to the needs of industry for proficient manpower. Chhattisgarh being a new state is filled with
potential but an untapped pool of talent. We at CSIT are working towards polishing this talent and
to bring them out so that they can touch the sky. We earnestly hope that our student will be able to
meet all the challenges given by your esteemed organisation as our ex- students have always made
the college proud. Many of them are occupying key positions in many private and public sector
undertakings in India and abroad and have brought laurels to the college.
Ubiquitous students of our institute, selected through a rigorous process, are amongst the
best of the technical talent available. They are guided and trained through a constantly updated
curriculum, by a highly qualified and experienced faculty, to meet the fast changing needs of the
technology. Our laboratories are well equipped with modern, sophisticated instruments and
machinery.

We will be extremely obliged if you could be a part of our endeavour of making the
untapped talent shine. We would like to invite you for a Campus Placement Drive of final / Prefinal year students. We would be glad to provide you with any further information and assistance
in this regard.
We are keen to organize a Campus Placement Drive during Oct-Nov 2010 or Jan-Mar
2011 at our institute for the Final / Pre-final Year Engineering Students. These students will be
appearing in final year B.E. exam which will conclude by the end of May 2011/2012 respectively.
They can therefore be available to take up their employment from July 2011/2012.
If Oct-Nov 2010 or Jan-Mar 2011 is not suitable at your end, please choose the most
convenient time and inform. In the past, we have conducted similar events, in which several
leading companies participated and recruited several bright talents.
We will be providing you the infrastructural facilities for conducting Tests, Interview,
Presentations, Group Discussion, Local travelling and Lodging /Boarding.
