Chamber Scholarship Eligibility: Open to graduating high school seniors who intend to continue their education in an

accredited two or four year college, university, junior college, or a vocational training school. Only open to students who
plan to advance their learning in the area of business studies, leadership, or specialized skills training. Please complete all
6 sections of the application. Applications will be reviewed by the Pierce County Chamber Board of Directors.
Applicants names will be withheld from the Board during evaluations.
A $1,000, 1-year scholarship will be awarded to one student from Pierce County High School who demonstrates
leadership qualities, involvement in community service, a strong work ethic, and an interest in business and
entrepreneurship.

5. Letter of Recommendation: Include one letter of recommendation from an employer, guidance counselor, teacher, or

*Submit completed application form, essays, letter of recommendation, college acceptance letter, and a copy of your high
school transcript to the Guidance Office no later than Thursday, April 23, 2015. Late applications will not be accepted.
The scholarship winner will be announced at the Pierce County High School Senior Award Ceremony in May.
The scholarship funds will be sent directly to the institution once the award recipient supplies the Chamber with the
college account information.
