I woke before the morning, I was happy all the day,
I never said an ugly word, but smiled and stuck to play.

And now at last the sun is going down behind the wood,
And I am very happy, for I know that I've been good.

My bed is waiting cool and fresh, with linen smooth and fair,
And I must be off to sleepsin-by, and not forget my prayer.

I know that, till to-morrow I shall see the sun arise,

No ugly dream shall fright my mind, no ugly sight my eyes.

But slumber hold me tightly till I waken in the dawn,

And hear the thrushes singing in the lilacs round the lawn.

Justification
From my point of view, based on the poem A good Boy that I have chosen above, it
is have a good quality that should be introduce to the young learners especially in primary
one until primary three. The poem is the best poetry that should be used for basic listening
and speaking. It is can give a lot benefits to the pupils in order to help them enrich their
understanding of the language. The strategy of phonics also has been introduced in order to
help pupils begin to read with good foundation in penmanship at the same time definitely
help pupils acquire good handwriting.
For me, this poem is quiet interesting with the simple sentences that has been used
in daily life. There so have an authentic word which emphasise meaningful contexts that will

integration the pupils language skills. With all the simple words and phonetics, the lesson will
be easy for the young learner.
Besides that, with this poem I can do a lot of fun learning which contains of variety
games and activities that will generate more in intellectual quotient of pupils to thinks. With
that, they will increase their ability to think in high order thinking based the previous
knowledge that they experience before.
As teacher, this poem will provide more in teaching approaches, lessons and
curriculum materials that suit the differing needs and abilities of pupils. It is important to give
lesson for the young learner based on their needs and abilities, so that their full potential can
be realized.
In addition, in order to attract the learner attention during lesson, we can use all those
kind of technologies around us. Nowadays, like they said all the facilities in our fingertips. In
line with growing globalization, technology is used extensively in our daily communication.
So, think wisely and use all of things as good as possible in our teaching and learning. We

pupils in case to enhance communication.
At the end of lesson, the simple test will be given. It is just assessment for the pupils
in order to recall what they have learnt just now. From the test, we can know the stages of

Such as luckily song that have been chosen by me. From my opinion, this song has
enough quality in order to enhance the pupil skills in listening and speaking. In a way to

For me, this song is very easy for the young learners getting involved. The way of the
