May 13, 8:15a.m. — PCHS Auditorium ‘Thursday, May 14, Honors Day Honor Graduates—7:30 Other Graduates—7:45 **Picture and Practice to follow Honors Day Friday May 15, 8:15a.m.—PCHS Auditorium Yearbook Dedication to follow ‘Thursday, May 21, 8:30a.m, ~ PCHS Auditorium/Field Friday, May 22, 8:30 a.m.— PCHS Auditorium/Field Reporting Time Friday May 22, 2015 Al Seniors mu: Teport to the auditorium Friday evening May 22, 2015 at :30 p.m. You must be dressed within the guidelines outlined below. Every graduating senior must be in line and ready to march out to the field at 6:45. Graduation/Honors Day Apparel — Girls (Thursday May 14 and Friday, May 22, 2015) 1 ‘Dress ~ You may wear a dress or skirt and top of an appropriate length. Try your dress on with your gown. Check the neckline and length of the dress. Neither the length nor the neckline should be seen from under the gown. Shoes should be dark dress shoes or white sandals. The backs of the shoes should be enclosed or have a strap around the back, Remember most of your walking will be on the grass field You may wear conservative jewelry (small earrings, watches, and rings), Chains and necklaces may not be worn outside the gown. Caps should be worn so that the board is straight NOT Tilted. You may not wear sunglasses onto the field. DO NOT have your pocketbook/purse or other valuables with you. Please leave them with your parents or a friend. There is no safe place to store them during the ceremony. Shorts and jeans are not acceptable. DO NOT bring your cell phones to the honors day or with a friend or family member until after the r graduation ceremony. NO Boots, Sandals, or Flip-flops, ete. will be allowed. Socks ~ You must wear dark dress socks. Shirt — Wear a solid white dress shirt. Cap — Caps should be worn so that the board is straight NOT Tilted, Shorts and jeans are not acceptable. You may not wear sunglasses onto the field. Tie — You must wear a tie that is primarily blue or black colors. You may wear a bow tie or regular tie. DO NOT bring your cell phones to the honors day or graduation ceremony. Leave them in your ear or with a friend or family member until after the ceremony.Pierce County High School Graduation Contract You are required to be at all graduation practices and functions associated with it, You must be on time and must stay until dismissed from all activities. Make your work arrangements according to the provided schedule. Being tardy to and/or being absent from a practice activity or not adhering to the dress code will result in your being pulled from the graduation line-up and you will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony. Finally: ‘Seniors are reminded that while graduation is a very exciting and happy time, there are still standards of behavior to be maintained. Administrators, Teachers, and Staff members and school rules and school property are to be respected at all times. You are adults and are expected to act like adults. ‘Any disrespectful or inappropriate behavior will have consequences. Disrespectful or inappropriate behavior during the Graduation Ceremony will result in the participant's diploma being held and them being banned from the PCHS campus for a period of one year.
