Theprecooledgasthenpassesthroughasmoothsurface,Nonfoulingairtorefrigerantheat
exchanger Chiller (refrigerant evaporator), where it is cooled to +3 5 degree centigrade by
givingupheattorefrigerationsystem.
Now the hydrogen gas passes through the moisture separator, where the water is
separated from the gas and discharged regularlythroughtheautodrainvalve.Thecoldgas
thenexitsatoutlet,afterit has passed through the other side of gastogasheatexchanger,
(economizer) where it is warmed by the incoming hot gas. This reheating increases the gas
effectivevolume(enablingittodomorework)andpreventspipesweatingdownstream.(The
driedgastravels through the activated carbon filter), gas stream does not fallbelow the
temp. towhichitwaschilledinthegastorefrigerantheatexchanger(referred to as dew
point temp.) and hence no more water vapour will condense into troublesome
liquid.Removingthewaterallowsyoutokeeppipelines,gastools,valvesand cylinders, spray
guns,pneumaticinstrumentsandanygasoperateddevicecleananddry.
Pressure switch: A pressure switch is provided to control discharge pressure by means of
controlling the condenser fan. It is sensing the discharge pressure and giving command to
condenserfantoONorOFF.Thiswillalsosaveenergyduringwinterseason.
Testing:
Hydraulictestofevaporatorunitandprecoolerunitat15Kg/cm2for30minutes.
Pneumatictestofevaporatorandprecoolerunitat10Kg/cm2for8hours.
HydraulictestofcompleteH2circuitat10Kg/cm2for30minutes.
PerformancetestofcompleteH2circuitat10Kg/cm2for8hours.

Performance test shall be demonstrated checking for proper functioning is to be

sensingthedischargepressureandgivingcommandtocondenserfantoONorOFF.Thiswillalsosaveenergy
duringwinterseason.

INSTALLATION:
ConnecttheElectricalconnectiontotheDryer
Connect the Hydrogen Gas inlet & outlet: Hydrogen gas inlet and outlet: Connect
hydrogengaslinestogasinletandgasoutletlocatedandidentifiedonthesideofthecabinet.
Pipingandarrangementswouldincludeinletandoutletvalvesandalsoasuitableairbypassif
desired.

NOTE:
TheDryerpressureshouldnotdropbelow5Kg/Cm2(g)asthelowerpressuredegrades
theoutletdewpoint.

Inlettemperatureshouldnotexceed60Deg.C.asthehighertemperaturedegradesthe
outletdewpoint.
Checkforgasleaksatpipingconnections.
Ensuretheindicatorsandgaugesareoperatingproperly.
Allow the unit to run for several hours. Then check to see if drying is being
accomplished.ThiscanbedonebyreleasingthecompressedairfromMoisture
Separatorthroughmanualdraincondensateremovaltrap.
Properlyinstalledandoperating,thedryerrequiresaminimumofcaretobeprovided
formanyyearsofreliableservice.Aregularmaintenanceprogramwilladdtothelifeof
the dryer and prevents problem with your compressed air system. Regular
maintenanceproceduresshouldincludedailymonitoringofdryeroperations.
On air cooled models, blowing out and cleaning of dirt and dust from the air cooled
refrigerationcondensingunitandespeciallytherefrigerationcondensermonthlyoras
requireddependingonconditionoftheareainwhichdryerisinstalled.inexceptionally
dirty location, a furnace type filter installation front of the refrigeration condenser is
recommended. It should be kept clean in order to maintain free air flow across
condenser.
Do not tamper with refrigeration section. Settings made at the factory are for normal
conditions.Whereconditionsareunusual,consultmanufacturer'stodoneedful.
Usestabilizedvoltagetopreventabnormalelectricalcomponent/compressorfailure.
CLEANINGOFCONDENSER(AIRCOOLEDTYPE):

Itisrecommendedtocleanthecondenserevery13monthsdependinguponyoursite
condition.Thedustparticlessettledinsidethefinnesofthecondensertobecleanedfor
efficiencyimprovement.Forcleaningblowcompressedairatapressureof12kg/cm2
through the finnes or spray water jet / soap solution through the finnes. During this
cleaningshutdowntheunit&electricalparts.
REFRIGERANTLEAKAGERECTIFICATION:Ifanygasleakageisthereinthesystemproper
coolingcannotbeachievedandsuctionpressurewillshowthelesserthanrequired.If
excessgasisleakedoutthenlpswitchwilltripthesystem.torectifytheleakageofthe
systemconsultwithaqualifiedrefrigerationengineer.
VACUUM&GASCHARGING:Forvacuumandgascharginggoodexperienceisrequired
in refrigeration. Therefore it is recommended to consult with a qualified refrigeration
engineeranduseonlyproperevacuationtechnique.
COMPRESSORREPLACEMENT:Duringcompressorreplacementthedryertobereplaced
andthewholerefrigerantpipestobeflushed.Thenvacuumandgaschargingistobe
done.Thereforeitisrecommendedtoconsultwithaqualifiedrefrigerationengineer.
