COURSE DESCRIPTION

This workshop will help


participants learn the
importance of becoming
Trauma-informed and how
widespread trauma is in their
daily work. They will learn
what vicarious traumatization
is and how to identify symptoms. Each individual will develop their own Self Preservation Prevention Plan.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Alisha F. Saulsbury, LCSW-C


Alisha Saulsbury graduated
from the University of Maryland
in 1993 with her Masters of Social Work .
Since becoming a therapist, she has practiced as an outpatient provider on the MidShore for 22 years. In addition to her outpatient work at For All Seasons, she coordinates the TAMAR (Trauma, Addiction,
Mental Health and Recovery) Program,
working in forensic mental health. She conducts national trainings, working with the
National Center for Trauma-Informed
Care .

CEUs
Social Work - The Eastern Shore
AHEC is a sponsor authorized by the
Board of Social Work Examiners.
Participants will be awarded a certificate for 3 hours of Category I
CEUs upon completion of the program.
