RENAULT CLIO II, KANGOO & MASTER INFRA RED RE-SYNCHRONIZING PROCEDURE

1. Turn Off the Ignition.

2. Press the central door locking button for 5 seconds or more. Please note: the door should lock and unlock.
3. When this happens, allow 10 seconds and then, the immobiliser warning light should illuminate.
4. Point the 1st key at the receiver and press the button twice, the doors should lock and unlock. Repeat for other remotes as required.
5. Check the remote control unlocking and locking the doors.

LAGUNA II & SAFRANE II INFRA RED RESYNCHRONISING

1. Turn Off the Ignition.
2. Press the central door locking button for 5 seconds or more. Please note: the door should lock and unlock.
3. When this happens, allow 15 seconds and then, the immobiliser warning light should illuminate.
4. Point the 1st key at the receiver and press the button twice, the doors should lock and unlock. Repeat for other remotes as required.
5. Point the 2nd key at the receiver and press the button once, the doors will then lock and unlock afterwards.
6. Check the remote control unlocking and locking the doors.

CLIO II, KANGOO & MASTER RF RESYNCHRONISING

1. Turn Off the Ignition.
2. Press the central door locking button for 5 seconds or more. Please note: the door should lock and unlock.
3. When this happens, allow 10 seconds and then, the immobiliser warning light should illuminate.
4. Press the remote control once, the doors will then lock and unlock afterwards.
5. Repeat for second remote if necessary.
6. Check the remote control unlocking and locking the doors.

LAGUNA II & SAFRANE II RF RESYNCHRONISING

CLIO RE-SYNCHRONISING
1. Lock the vehicle manually
2. Now, unlock the Car manually
3. Quickly insert the key into ignition within 30 seconds.
4. Turn Ignition and start vehicle.

MEGANE RF RESYNCHRONISING
Hold the remote control button down for 10 seconds or longer (until the red telltale light on the key extinguishes) then press it again for 3 times.
Check that the doors lock and unlock the vehicle correctly.

MEGANE WITH EARLY REMOTE (LED SWITCHES OFF WHEN HOLDING BUTTON DEPRESSED)

- Make sure the igniton is switched ON

- Press the central locking button for 5 seconds or more
- LED on the dash board will go off, come back on and then start flashing. The flashes correspond to the first digit of the 4 PIN security code. Release
the button when the first digit has been flashed and then press the button again.
- Wait for the second digit to be flashed, then release and press the button again. Continue until all digits are entered.
- If you have entered the code correctly, the LED will then go out and the car can be started. To code the remote, switch off the ignition and press the
central locking button again.
- Press remote button 2 times within the immediate vicinity of the pick up (in the roof). On some vehicles you may need to switch the ignition back on
to achieve this however.

MEGANE RF RESYNCHRONISING

Hold the remote control button down for longer than 10 seconds (until the red telltale light on the key extinguishes). Then you'll have to press it again
3 times.
Check that the doors lock and unlock correctly.

CITROEN XSARA; XANTIA; SYNERGIE; EVASION

CENTRAL DOOR LOCK (1 BUTTON PLIP KEY)
Procedure:
1. Ensure all doors are unlocked using the key.
2. Press and hold plip key button until LED stops flashing.
3. After releasing button, LED will light constantly.
4. Press the Plip Button once, and LED will extinguish.
5. Open the door and hold the Plip key near the Ignition switch, and press the plip button one
time.
6. Now turn the ignition ON, and wait 10 seconds then turn ignition OFF.
7. After 5 seconds, Plip should now operate.
CENTRAL DOOR LOCK with DEADLOCKING (2 BUTTON PLIP KEY)
1. Ensure all doors are unlocked using the key.
2. Press and HOLD the large plip key button while the LED flashes continuously for 20 seconds.
After 20 seconds press the small deadlock button once while still holding the large button.
3. The LED will stop flashing.
4. Release the large button and the LED will light constantly.
5. Press the large button one time, and the LED will go out.
6. Open the door and hold the Plip key near the Ignition switch, and press the large plip button
one time.
7. Now turn the ignition ON, and wait 10 seconds then turn ignition OFF.
8. After 5 seconds, Plip should now operate.
KEY FOB PROGRAMMING BERLINGO98 >
1. Turn the Ignition switch to accessory position using the key, without the remote plip attached.
2. Hold the Plip key towards the receiver at the front of the vehicle.
3. Press the large plip button, then the small plip button on the remote.
4. Repeat for second Plip key if required.
5. Turn ignition OFF.
6. After 5 seconds, Plip should now operate.
SAXO 99 >
Procedure
1. Unlock the vehicle using Key.
2. Press the LOCK button 2 times within 20 seconds of unlocking the vehicle.
XSARA PICASSO
1. Turn Ignition ON.
2. Press and HOLD the LOCK button for 5 seconds.
3. Turn Ignition OFF.
4. After 5 seconds test Plip key.

DISPATCH
1. Turn Ignition ON, and wait for LED to go out.(If fitted)
2. Press the LOCK or UNLOCK button with 20 seconds.
3. Press the LOCK or UNLOCK on other PLIPS within 10 seconds.

4. LED should light for 1 second.

5. Check PLIPS for operation.

CITROEN C3
Switch ignition ON.
Press and hold lock button for 10 seconds.
Switch ignition OFF.
Wait 3 seconds.
Synchronization procedure complete.
Repeat above procedure to program remaining keys.
Confirm synchronization has been successful by locking and unlocking vehicle.

How to program your Audi flip key fob.

I have done a ton of searching and found how to accurately program a key fob on the forums. The problem with
all the directions that I had found was that once I programmed one key fob, the others would erase. None of the directions
showed all the steps to program more than one key correctly without losing the others (which most people will have). This
DIY has the correct programing procedure no matter how many fobs you have.
For some reason if you pull your battery or you change the battery in your fob you might be finding a situation where you
need to do this programming.
There are two kinds of programming. If you have remotes that have been programmed to the car previously the steps are
easy. There are longer steps if the keys are new and those are the secondary ones.
Steps to reprogram keys to a car they are already linked to:
1. Press and hold the unlock key on a remote
2. Insert key in ignition and turn to on (while still holding unlock)
3. Hold unlock while in the on position for 2 seconds
4. Turn key to off, remove from ignition and release button.
Do this for each remote. Relink to seat positions (press and hold mem position #, then unlock button for 2
seconds and release both) and done.
To program new remotes on a car never linked to previously:
1. Take a key (valet key works best, put it into the ignition and turn the key to the "on" position, so the dashboard lights
come on.
2. Roll down the driver's side window (not required, but a good idea in case there's a problem).
3. Exit the car and close the door.
4. With a second key, physically lock the doors by turning the key clockwise (don't use a remote).
5. Take the first remote to be programmed, press the unlock button. The lights will flash once.
6. Wait 10 seconds and press the unlock button. The doors should unlock. That first transmitter is now programmed.

***If you have only one key skip to step 16. Otherwise continue to step 7.***
7. Lock the door again (physically) with the key, (not the remote) by turning clockwise.
8. Press the unlock button two times with a one second interval in between, the lights will flash with each button press for a
total of two flashes.
9. Wait 10 seconds and press the unlock button. The doors should unlock. The second transmitter is now programmed.
***If you have three keys proceed to step 10. Otherwise skip to step 16.***
10. Lock the door again (physically) with the key, (not the remote) by turning clockwise.
11. Press the unlock button three times with a one second interval in between, the lights will flash with each button press for
a total of three flashes.
12. Wait 10 seconds and press the unlock button. The doors should unlock. The third transmitter is now programmed.
***If you have four keys proceed to step 13. Otherwise skip to step 16.***
13. Lock the door again (physically) with the key, (not the remote) by turning clockwise.
14. Press the unlock button four times with a one second interval in between, the lights will flash with each button press for a
total of four flashes.
15. Wait 10 seconds and press the unlock button. The doors should unlock. The fourth transmitter is now programmed.
16. Remove the key from the ignition.
Make sure that to test the newly program remotes, the original key is removed from the ignition since this exits the
programming process. Someone might be a bit frustrated trying to test it with it still in 'program' mode.
I had some diffuculty accessing the programming mode. If it doesnt work then take the key out of the ignition and start over.
Rinse lather repeat. It will go eventually

1.

Close all doors.

2.

Turn ignition switch to the Accessory position (KL R), and then turn it off
again within 5 seconds.

3.

Within 30 seconds of turning the ignition switch to "off". Press and

hold down the unlock button (button with the up arrow marking).

4.

While holding down the unlock button, depress and release the lock
button (button with the BMW logo) three times (within 10 seconds of
depressing the unlock button).

5.

Release the unlock button. The LED in the key will flash momentarily.
The GM will immediately lock and unlock the doors signaling a successful
initialization.

6.

Without turning the ignition on again, repeat steps 3 through 5 for

additional transmitters (up to four transmitters can be initialized to one
receiver).

7.

Switching the ignition to KL R completes the initialization.

DRUGI METOD

BMW 5-Series - Key Remote Programming

Three methods to try:

Method 1:
1. Working from within the vehicle and with the doors shut
2. Turn ignition to position 1 and back to off within 5 seconds.
3. Remove the key from ignition and press and hold the unlock button for 15
seconds during this time press the key lock button 3 times within 5 seconds.
4. Release both buttons.
5. Doors will lock and unlock to show correct programming has occurred.

Method 2:
To do this procedure you need to have one working key and one key that needs to
be programmed.
1) Get in and close all doors.
2) Turn on the ignition and turn off quickly. (No more than 5 seconds) to start the
process. Next action must take place within 30 seconds.
3) Remove the 1st key.
4) Hold the key up near your left shoulder (this is so it is closer to the remote
receiver antenna.
5) Hold down the unlock button and press the lock button 3 times. Release the
unlock button and the doors lock which confirms the operation.
6) Quickly repeat steps 4 & 5 for key #2 etc.
If it does not work, try doing the keys in opposite order. Key 2 then key 1, vs 1 then
2.

Method 3:
Alternate if you do not have a working remote
1. Turn key to position 1 five times very quickly 2. Remove key 3. Hold unlock
button then press lock button 3 times, release unlock button.
4. If you have another key do the same button pressing within 30 seconds 5. Turn
on ignition to finalise.
PLEASE NOTE: This programming procedure programs the remote control part of
the key. Any transponder chip for the immobiliser (starting of car) will not be
programmed and must be done by a specialist.

FORD FOCUS
Follow this procedure to program your factory remote transmitter for
your Ford Focus:
1. Close all doors to make sure conflicting chimes do not sound during
programming.
2. Turn the ignition switch from position I to position II four times
within six seconds.
3. Turn the ignition switch to position 0.
4. A chime sounds and an LED will illuminate to indicate that the
learning mode has been accessed and it is possible to program remote
transmitters.
5. Within 10 seconds of the previous step, press any button on the
remote transmitter being programmed until a chime is heard and the
LED flashes. This indicates a new transmitter code has been
successfully received.
6. After each successful remote transmitter programming, another 10
second learning mode is automatically entered, up to a maximum of
four times.
7. To program additional remote transmitters, repeat step 5.

8. The system will exit the learning mode if the ignition switch is
turned to position III, no new remote transmitter is programmed during
the 10 seconds or if four remote transmitters have been programmed.
NOTE: An incorrect programming procedure does not affect the stored
codes.
NOTE: A maximum of four remote transmitters can be programmed to
the vehicle. Programming must be done at the same time for all the
remote transmitters.
NOTE: Before entering the remote transmitter programming mode,
make sure that the vehicle battery is fully charged and that the antitheft system is not armed or triggered (if equipped).
