thoughts was unbearable and this time it was his fault, not mine, his. Why didnt he call,
why didnt he try and let me know what was happening? It would have taken just a
second of his time to reassure me that all was as it should be. He makes me feel as if
Im the selfish one, but Im not, am I?
- So, where were you last night? I asked again.
- My meeting ran late and I decided to stay over at the club.
- But you didnt tell me you had a meeting. I thought we agreed, no more surprises, no
more secrets. We promised wed be honest with each other. Why do you always have to
go and spoil things? It makes it harder for me.
- OK, OK. I get it, Im sorry. If its such a big deal to you, I promise Ill call next time.
- Yes, it is a big deal. What was I supposed to think? Youve no idea how lonely it is for
me here. Youve got the guys at the office, your club. Ive got no one, nothing. I have to
keep myself to myself, open up to no one, always looking over my shoulder. Some days
I cant face going out at all, just in case.
- Ive said Im sorry. It wont happen again. Im shattered; its been a long week. Let me
go and have a shower and then maybe we can get a takeaway?
- But arent you interested to know what I did, where I went last night? I asked.
- Sorry darling, where were you last night?
- I was here, of course, but an old friend dropped by and we chatted. Anyway, sorry to
spoil your plans for this evening, but I have to go now, theres somewhere I need to be. I
dont know when Ill be back.
I glanced back at him as I walked out the door; it was as if hed been struck dumb. He
seemed to be rooted to the floor and his face told me he didnt know whether to be
enraged or terrified. Now it was time for him to share some of that emotional burden.

Hi
Dear Smith
It has been a long time since we exchanged letters. In this letter I am giving you an
exhilarating experience of my camping trip.
I, along with six school mates, went camping to Bir in Himachal Pradesh. It was a
seven-day trip. We went to Delhi by train and after a day's stay left for Bir early in the
morning by bus and reached there by evening. We camped out in the woods. The nights
were mostly clear and we enjoyed the beauty of the moon, the stars and the sky, It was
wonderful to see the night sky, as if there was not an iota of pollution in the hill area. We
also sat around the camp fire and told stories and jokes.
We went for long walks and also went trekking. The natural beauty of this place is really
worth seeing. There are pine trees all around Bir and a small river flows, winding its way
through the valleys and hills. As this place is very calm and quiet, we could very clearly
hear the chirping of birds and movement of the water.
It was really a great time for all of us. I wish you were with us. When you come to
Ahmedabad next time, we shall plan a similar camping trip again.
Pay my regards to your parents. Goodbye my friend.
Yours sincerely

Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I...
Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I...

worry about rejection from society and start to focus on improving myself to become
someone better entirely in a good way.
REFLECTION
I am thankful to Almighty for His blessing that helps me to finish this task. When I first
receive the text, I difficulties to find text that contains interjections. This is because I
thought that the text is only for formal writing until my lecturer told me that the text that is
required in this task is not only exclusively for formal writing but it is also inclusive for
informal writing.
This task teach me to read something intensively to understand the usage of the
words used in any writing so that I can appreciate the writing even more. This task also
teach me to increase my knowledge regarding interjections, conjunctions and
prepositions. I also increase my vocabulary regarding these part of speech.
The second task requires me to listen to a song. The title of the song is according
to my preference. So I pick a song that has the most meaningful lyrics for me. I learnt
that every song has their own message and required the listener to analyse the song.
Same thing goes for speech, the audience must listen critically to what the speech is
about and what it implies.
I am hoping that I can increase my knowledge regarding English so I can
communicate with other better. For me knowledge is something that can be seek by
people who only interested.
