TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is directed towards
oncologists, hematologists,
geriatricians, internists, advanced
care practitioners, oncology nurses, and
other healthcare professionals involved in
the care of older adult cancer patients.

COURSE OVERVIEW
Cancer treatment methods should be
tailored to the diverse needs of these
patients. This multidisciplinary symposium
will provide healthcare professionals with
knowledge about the evaluation and
management of older adults with cancer.
Methods to efficiently integrate elements of
a geriatric assessment into a daily oncology
practice will be included. Expert oncologists
will discuss management and treatment
outcomes for older adults with hematologic
malignancies, breast, ovarian and prostate
cancers. Nursing and other allied healthcare
professionals will discuss specific older
adults medical and social needs.

TARGET AUDIENCE

ACCREDITATION STATEMENT

This course is directed towards oncologists,


hematologists, geriatricians, internists,
advanced care practitioners, oncology nurses,
and other healthcare professionals involved in
the care of older adult cancer patients.

MSK is accredited by the Accreditation


Council for Continuing Medical Education
(ACCME) to provide continuing medical
education for physicians.

COURSE DESIGN

It is the policy of MSK to make every


effort to insure balance, independence,
objectivity, and scientific rigor in all
continuing medical education activities
which it sponsors as an ACCME accredited
provider. In accordance with ACCME
guidelines and standards, all faculty
participating in an activity sponsored
by MSK are expected to disclose any

A course evaluation survey sent out


electronically will provide attendees with
the opportunity to review the sessions
and the speakers and to identify future
educational needs.
AMA CREDIT DESIGNATION STATEMENT

MSK designates this live activity for a


maximum of 5.5 AMA PRA Category 1
Credits. Physicians should only claim
credit commensurate with the extent of
their participation in the activity. The
AMA has determined that physicians not
licensed in the United States but who
participate in this CME activity are eligible
for 5.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
NURSING EDUCATION CREDIT

MSK is an Approved Provider of Continuing


Nursing Education by the Northeast Multistate
Division (NE-MSD), an accredited approver by
the American Nurses Credentialing Centers
Commission on Accreditation. CE credit will
