We teach participants to write, record, produce

and master their music and all go away with a
finished cd as well as a cover for their record.

"I made this" is an ambitious sponsor a spirit of excellence, raise

new charity whose founders
and trustees all have solid
backgrounds in the arts and
media, and are all passionate
about this area.
Together we have created a state of
the art media facility in rural Suffolk.
This fantastic facility offers a high tech
recording studio and video facility.
Our vision includes the creation of an
internet TV and radio station through
which members our community will be
encouraged to learn and express
themselves. From this facility "I made
this" will deliver opportunity and
inclusion in arts projects for everyone.
Through activities like music, singing,
dance, DJing, rap, drama, music
production, film and TV production,
painting and graffiti art, we will
confidence, increase skill levels and
provide the opportunity to work as a
group.
At the heart of the "I made this”
philosophy is our belief that everyone
can be creative and that cultural and
creative activities are fundamental to
our lives. By encouraging people to
participate in a culture of creation, we
seek to develop our community by
raising confidence and aspirations
through access to the arts.
Central to our vision is the concept of
developing transferable skills through
creative activity to help all
disadvantaged groups including the
unemployed, those with low skill levels
and all those marginalised by the lack
of access to affordable training, with a
particular focus on the young.

Music workshops:
These are workshops we run with
small groups of young people in a
professional studio environment
where regardless of previous
musical experience we create a
song from scratch. Using high-spec
equipment, technology and
experienced musicians we teach
groups and individuals how to
write, record, produce and master
their music after which they go
away with a finished CD as well as
a cover for their record. We
currently have places for young
people to take part in these two
day sessions (arranged around the
young people’s availability) so
please get in touch if you work with
young people who might be
interested in taking part.
