INTRODUCCIN

El presente libro es una continuacin del mtodo Mi Primer Libro de Piano (Mtodo
de Iniciacin) fruto del continuo trabajo pedaggico y de investigacin en la didctica del
piano en el Grado Elemental.
Para este trabajo hemos realizado una amplia y cuidadosa seleccin de obras de
diferentes estilos (barroco, clsico y romntico), autores y dificultad, a fin de que el profesor
tenga a su disposicn un gran abanico de posibilidades a la hora de elegir las obras ms
adecuadas para cada alumno, teniendo en cuenta la escasez de piezas de este nivel, sobre
todo en los apartados clsico y romntico.
Hemos pretendido respetar al mximo los textos originales introduciendo
nicamente ciertas indicaciones en las obras barrocas con el fin de facilitar al alumno su
interpretacin y adecuarlas a las posibilidades expresivas del piano.
Tambin se han incluido unas breves biografas de los autores reseados para
introducir al alumno en los diferentes estilos y orientarlos histricamente en los diferentes
estilos de la msica occidental.
