Candidates, who are released / retired from Armed Forces, or whose SPE is likely to be completed on or

c) ForanExServicemanwhohasoncejoinedaGovernmentjobonthecivilsideafteravailingofthebenefitsgivento
him as an ExServiceman for his reemployment, his ExServiceman status for the purpose of reemployment in
Governmentceases.
d) DependentsofServicemenkilledinactionareeligibleforreservation.4.5%ofthetotalvacanciesarereservedfor
Disabled ExServiceman and dependents of Servicemen killed in action, clubbed together. First priority in the
matter of appointment will be given to the Disabled ExServiceman and second priority will be given to two

dependents of Defence personnel killed in action or severely disabled (with over 50% disability attributable to
defence services). For the purpose of this concession, the member of the family would include his widow, son,
daughter or his near relations who agree to support his family. The relaxation in upper age and educational
qualifications available to ExServiceman/Disabled ExServiceman will not be available to Dependents of
Servicemenkilledinaction.

holders in execution and supervision of electrical installations in large buildings/ commercial buildings having HT/ LT

(d)JobDescription:
Junior Engineer (Civil): Handling and supervision of civil construction/ maintenance/ interior works, etc. of building

Junior Engineer (Electrical): Handling and supervision of electrical/ electromechanical/ electrical and electronics
installations/systemsandotherrelatedjobsinofficebuildingandresidentialcolonies.
(e)Candidateshouldknowhowtoread/writeandspeakoneoftheOfficialLanguagesoftheState/UTintheZone.
Somequestionsmaybeputinthelocallanguageatthetimeofinterview,toascertaintheleveloffamiliarityofthe

6.ExaminationCenters:
(i)TheexaminationwillbeconductedonlineinvenuesacrossmanycentresinIndia.ThelistofExaminationcentres

(ii)TheBank,however,reservestherighttocancelanyoftheExaminationCentresand/oraddsomeotherCentres,
dependingupontheresponse,administrativefeasibility,etc.
(iii)TheBankreservestherighttoallotthecandidatetoanycentreotherthantheonehe/shehasoptedforanda
candidate may be allocated a centre of exam outside the State/UT/ Zone for which vacancies he/she is
applying.
(iv)CandidatewillappearfortheexaminationatanExaminationCentre/venue/session/dateathis/herownrisks
andexpensesandtheBankwillnotberesponsibleforanyinjuryorlossesetc.ofanynature.

Candidates are first required to go to RBI websitewww.rbi.org.in. On the Home Page click on the option
RecruitmentforthepostofJuniorEngineertoopentheOnLineApplicationForm.

b) CandidateswillhaveclickonClickhereforNewRegistrationlinktoregistertheirapplicationbyenteringtheir
basicinformationintheonlineapplicationform.Afterthataprovisionalregistrationnumberandpasswordwill
be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional
registrationnumberandpassword.AnEmail&SMSindicatingtheProvisionalRegistrationnumberandPassword
willalsobesent.TheycanreopenthesaveddatausingProvisionalregistrationnumberandpasswordandedit
theparticulars,ifneeded.Basicinformationoncesavedcannotbeedited.
c)

Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the
GuidelinesforScanningandUploadofPhotographandSignature(AnnexI)

d) CandidatesshouldcarefullyfillinthedetailsintheOnLineApplicationattheappropriateplacesverycarefully
andclickontheFINALSUBMITbuttonattheendoftheOnLineApplicationformat.BeforepressingtheFINAL

8.GeneralRules/Instructions:
(i) CandidatescanapplyonlyforonepostandalsoforoneZone.Iftherearemultipleregistrations,thelastregistrationwillbe
retained.
(ii)Candidatesneednotsubmit/sendatanyaddress,applicationprintoutsoranycertificatesorcopiesthereofatthe
time of online application. Their candidature will be considered on the strength of the information declared in the

application. If at any stage, it is found that any information furnished in the online application is false/ incorrect or if
accordingtoRBI,thecandidatedoesnotsatisfytheeligibilitycriteria,his/hercandidature/appointmentisliabletobe
cancelled/terminated.
(iii)Alleducationalqualificationsshouldhavebeenobtainedfromrecogniseduniversities/institutionsinIndiaorabroad.

(vi)CandidateswillhavetovisittheRBIwebsitefordownloadingcalllettersforonlinetest.Intimationfordownloading
call letter will also be sent through email/SMS. Once the candidate clicks the relevant link, he/she can access the
window for call letter download. The candidate is required to use (i) Registration Number/Roll Number, (ii)
Password/DateofBirthfordownloadingthecallletter.Candidateneedstoaffixrecentrecognizablephotographonthe
callletterpreferablythesameasprovidedduringregistrationandappearattheexaminationcentrewith(i)CallLetter
(ii) PhotoIdentity Proof asstipulated in clause (xiii)below and alsospecified in the call letter and photocopyof the
samePhotoIdentityProofasbroughtinoriginal.
(vii)Thecandidateswillhavetoappearfortheexamattheirowncost.However,candidatescalledforintervieware

(c) misbehaving in the examination/ interview hall or disclosing, publishing, reproducing, transmitting, storing or
facilitatingtransmissionandstorageofcontentsofthetest(s)oranyinformationthereininwholeorpartthereofinany

(d)resortingtoanyirregularorimpropermeansinconnectionwithhis/hercandidatureor

(xv) RBI would be analyzing the responses (answers) of individual candidates with those of other candidates to detect
patterns of similarity of right and wrong answers. If in the analytical procedure adopted in this regard, it is inferred/
concludedthattheresponseshavebeensharedandscoresobtainedarenotgenuine/valid,RBIreservesrighttocancel
thecandidatureoftheconcernedcandidatesandtheresultofsuchcandidates(disqualified)willbewithheld.
(xvi)Canvassinginanyformwillbeadisqualification.
(xvii)InallcorrespondencewithRBI,RegistrationnumberreceivedonsubmissionofapplicationandRollno.indicatedin
'CallLetter'mustbequoted.
(xviii)Inallmattersregardingeligibility,conductofexaminations,interview,assessment,prescribingminimumqualifying
standards in online examination and interview, in relation to number of vacancies and communication of result, RBIs
decisionshallbefinalandbindingonthecandidatesandnocorrespondenceshallbeentertainedinthisregard.
(xix)Thepossibilityforoccurrencesofsomeprobleminadministrationoftheexaminationcannotberuledoutcompletely
whichmayimpacttestdeliveryand/orresultfrombeinggenerated.Inthatevent,everyeffortwillbemadetorectifythe
problem, which may include shifting the candidates to the other centres or to conduct of another examination if
considerednecessary.DecisionofRBIinthisregardshallbefinal.Candidatesnotwillingtoacceptsuchchangeshallloose
his/hercandidatureforthisexam.
(xx)Iftheexaminationisheldinmorethanonesession,thescoresacrossvarioussessionswillbeequatedtoadjustfor
slightdifferencesindifficultylevelofdifferenttestbatteriesusedacrosssessions.Morethanonesessionarerequiredif
thenodescapacityislessorsometechnicaldisruptiontakesplaceatanycentreorforanycandidate.
(xxi) Mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises, where the
examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disqualification including ban from
futureexaminations.
