OBJECTIVE

Show off photography

portfolio to show clients
past experience and
inform them on

princing.

PROCESS

I created the background in

Photoshop. I used the
overlay tool over the lines
for both the white background
and the navy blue. All photos
were edited in lightroom and then
placed into InDesign. I used the
ruler tool in InDesign to measure
out 3 folds and creat 8 boxes in each
fold. Then depending on the size of
the photo, I placed them either in one
or mulitple of the 8 boxes.

OBJECTIVE

Have professional
letterhead when writing
to clients within
photography business

PROCESS

By using the overlay

adjustment over the lines, i
created the background curved
lines. I then created the logo
in photoshop and lowered the
opacity. All fonts and design of
fonts were created in Illustraitor
and then resized in photoshop. I used
the box tool and lowered opacities to
still show off lines in the background.
To be consistent with color, I used a teal
monochromatic theme and just accented it
with grey and white.

PROCESS

I used the pen tool to

create the bell and then
just held it down to curve it.
I used the same bell for all
three but on the second one I
changed the brush of the bell.
For the circle dots, I just used
a bunch of periods in a circle.
I then added all my fonts that I
found on DaFont.

OBJECTIVE

Create an attractive
webstie for photography
business.

PROCESS

By using TextWrangler, I
was able to create the CSS
and the HTML. By using codes
and then checking them by
refreshing the HTML I was
able to see the updates on my
website. I used photoshop to
find the color codes for my logo
and then plugged those codes into
TextWrangler so that my color of
my site would match the color of my
logo.

OBJECTIVE

An Event Ad to raise
awareness about an
auction to raise money
for the National Center of
PTSD.

PROCESS

I used an article from

National Geographic with all
of these masks. I scanned them
individually and then I imported
them into word. I used word to
organize and resize them all. I
really liked how they all had some
sort of red themed so I used a text
box and red coloring to even ad more
to the red theme. I used the rule of
thirds for all aspects of my alignment.

Comm 130 - Sec 1 :
Project 1
DESCRIPTION

Create a black and white

promotional flier to
promote a graduate
leadership conference.

PROGRAMS USED
Adobe InDesign

DATE
January 25. 2015

OBJECTIVE

Reach out to graduates

or soon to be graduates
and inform them about a
leadership conference that
has the potential to give
them a competitive edge in
the business world.

PROCESS

In InDesign, I used a dark box

for the graduate part to bring
the attention of my audience
and smaller grey boxes (same
color and length for repetition) to
highlight key information. Because
the big image and important boxes
were on the right side, I decided to put
the other information on the left and
white space on the right to even out the
content. I was given the logo and image for
this project.
